  1. Did you turn the engine on?
  2. The chances of a repair company having the exact spare part for your 2014 laptop in stock is probably pretty small, but Tukcom on Pattaya Thai Road (Pattaya South Road) is where you want to go. 3rd / 4th floors. It is a very well known IT mall in central Pattaya.
  3. Traditional in relation to what? Horseback... booking everything through a travel agent, booking direct with airlines / hotels. It wont be long before the youth of today refer back to AirBnB as traditional.
  4. Well at least you're admitting to trolling.
  5. Healthy looking? He looks like an inflated satsuma. Speaks coherently? Very bigly indeed. He does great bigly speeches. The best speeches ever. Covfefe. Agree on the diet.
  6. I take it you mean Kanchanaburi?
  7. No, they give you your passport back with an "under consideration" stamp in it. EDIT: Should have mentioned... if your 90 report happens during that consideration period, enter the end of the consideration period (the date they say you should report back to immigration) as your visa expiry date. The online system wont accept a date in the past. Just this week I had to do both - extension of stay first and then 90 day report that was due 1 week after.
  8. Oops sorry, you're right. I was thinking that Olmate was the OP. My apologies.
  9. Sound like she had Klingons on her starboard bow too. RIP young lady.
  10. Without trying to sound rude, you're asking the community for wage rates and then telling them it's not right. 500 baht per day is indeed an OK wage here depending on the work, location etc. 7-11 workers work about the hours you're suggesting and earn in the region on 9k baht per month. Earlier you mentioned that nurses earn 50k... a few might, but the vast majority will be on well under that. Those nurses care for dozens of patients. You're asking her to look after 1. The workload will be cushy compared to what would be expected from a Thai employer. 18k would be a VERY fair wage. Live in, with meals, less than that.
  11. There is no customs on domestic flights. I guess you mean at the security check before you enter airside - almost always checked there on all flights I've taken, domestic or international and, as you say, again at the gate.
  12. I think you should look no further than Donny Osmond.
  13. Sandpaper. Medium grit. Didn't believe it when I was first told, but it works wonders and does not damage the bog if rubbed lightly. Once clean, make sure your water isn't too hard and clean 2 or 3 times a week and it will stay clean.
  14. If they are weekly repaired, they were probably weakly constructed.
  15. Good luck. If I remember correctly, translation services is one of the jobs reserved only for Thais. Finding Thais with excellent foreign written language skills is not easy. EDIT: Forgot to mention, the official document which listed the jobs reserved for Thais was also published in English. The translation was appalling (and funny). Paper hand job anyone?
  16. Not a direct answer to your question, but I had a customer that insisted I do similar. My first requirement was to make sure all travel was at least full fare J class on a single carrier (or alliance) so that miles would get me upgrades to F.
  17. I live on the darkside, less than 2km from Sukhumvit. It can take me <10 minutes to get to central Pattaya, depending on traffic. I also live right next to Siam Royal View, in one of the few other upmarket moobaans where most of the owners would laugh at you if you wanted to be pedantic enough to say you don't live in Pattaya. I believe a fair few lawyers live here too, probably a few in Siam Royal View. I bet they ply their trades in the Pattaya courts more than any other too.
  18. The shop on Soi 89 Sukhumvit opposite the Green Way driving range plus the shop of Thepprassit on the opposite side of the road to Pattaya Outlet mall usually have a set or two. Wont be much choice though.
  19. Now that we've had lots of suggestion on how to handle the dog, we need to find a place for Will that will take the wife.
  20. Main reason I'd probably go for it is added stone chip protection.
  21. Woof and it was up in flames.
  22. Not the end of the world, but it's never a good idea to plan to have an overstay stamp in your passport. It gives any additional country another reason to deny you a visa, not just Thailand. Takes up more of those precious empty pages in the passport too. May or may not matter to you.

  24. Install them when the air temp inside the car is as hot as possible.
