  1. A 500 Bhat room and a 50 Baht Pad Thai may seem cheap , but it wouldn't be cheap if you factored in lost wages you would have received back home . Working back home and you would ended up the day with more $ than you began it with , being in Thailand and you will have ended up with less
  2. The Green bus takes about 3 hours and 15 minutes and a distance of 189 kilometres makes the speed about 60 KPH and a songthaew can do it in about the same time . The songthaew goes from bus station to bus station and no dropping off and they only run when the days buses are full and they have ten passengers at 300 Baht per person . Really uncomfortable and dusty as well
  3. Man City V Chelsea tomorrow What's your prediction for that game ?
  4. The East Stand was built in 1975 , I assumed you would be a bit older, being "old School" . That school is now the Oratory school , its where clever kids go nowadays , although being able to count your money , post on forums and watch football all at the same time is rather impressive . (And BTW , there isnt a Kerry Dixon suite at Chelsea )
  5. Just looking out my window now and can see Stamford Bridge
  6. Yes, you can indeed post on Chelsea forums whilst Man U are playing a game , no one is suggesting you cannot do that
  7. Take into consideration how much money you lost through not working back home and add that into the equation
  8. Posted Sunday at 02:10 PM Aston Villa V Man U Kick off 02.00 PM
  9. Aston Villa V Man U Kicked off at 2 PM Sunday You posted in the Chelsea forum at 2. 10 PM Sunday whilst the Man U game was in progress . It is still there , want me to refresh it ?
  10. He used to come and ask me whether the food was OK...............just as I'd taken a big bite out the food , happened numerous times for it to be a coincidence . He walked in once and took his hat and jacket off and was dripping in sweat after a long bike ride and shaking the sweat off a few feet away from me as I was eating
  11. Excuse me ? You were posting on the Chelsea forum whilst there was a Man U game being played . You posted about the Chelsea result and it was 20 minutes into the Man U game as Man kicked off a bit later than the Chelsea game. You were talking about a Chelsea game at the same time Man U were playing
  12. Apologies for that : I may go for a massage later , nudge nudge wink wink, 1000 Baht and we'll both be happy , happy ending for us both , nudge nudge wink wink, catch my drift ?
  13. Staying all the way up until Friday morning to watch it
  14. Having sex outside of marriage was considered to be living outside of societies norms back then , seeing a woman's breasts was something that you'd pay the entrance fee to a movie cinema just to see . Having sex was a wild achievement . For the younger generation, its just a normal regular thing to do . Some older guys still paying prostitutes thinking they are achieving something , laughable really
  15. I am just open and honest about it , others tend to mention it in a "nudge nudge, wink wink" kind of way with hints and innuendos , like going to a massage parlour and nudge nudge wink wink..............."a happy ending", "know what I mean" Just say you're going to a shop to pay to get masturbated , no need to be coy about it
  16. Living a full life if all you do is eat, drink, go to the toilet and have sex
  17. Better to ask them before they arrive , send them an E-mail asking whether they would like a prostitute for an hour or whole night and which gender they would like the prostitute to be , and how many they would like , that way they have some time to considier it
  18. "Brown envelopes and the Red Bull heir"
  19. Cambodian prostitutes are poorer and need the money more and there's fewer customers and they are desperate to hold on to guys who use them , I found it quite sad when they try and cling onto you and want a long tern relationship or at least a regular customer
  20. You can out your finger in it , if you pay the cost
  21. Not sure that its a good idea to take a couple of 60 year olds to see prostitution on a trip to Thailand , they could be disgusted . What if the man decides to use a prostitute and leave his Wife ?
  22. Sex and cigarettes are both cheaper in Thailand , so are buses
  23. Pnohm Penn has more prostitutes than Siem Reap ? Isnt Pattaya better than both ?
  24. The use songthaews/Red cars when the buses are full
  25. I shall answer me own question : Difference Between Integration and Assimilation There are countries with a single culture with a monolithic population. However, in this age of increased cooperation and communication, countries having mixed population with multiple cultures are seen commonly. These countries reflect multiculturalism with a majority culture that is the culture of the majority population whereas immigrants coming over to the country represent minority cultures. There are two distinct ways in which minorities try to look and feel like the majority. These processes are called assimilation and integration. There are many who treat these processes as being similar or even interchangeable. However, there are subtle differences between assimilation and integration that will be highlighted in this article. Integration Integration is a two way process where there are cross influences from both the cultures and both change a small bit to accept the minority culture into the majority culture. This is a process that requires acceptance of the laws and ways of the host country by the people of the minority culture without giving up on their own laws and ways. This happens with modification in both the cultures. However, this is possible in a situation where there are no antagonistic feelings between the two cultures and both accommodate the viewpoints of each other in a bid to live harmoniously together. Integration is a process where the minority cultures take something in from the majority culture to become a part of the majority culture retaining their identity. Assimilation Assimilation is a process of absorbing minority communities into the ways and views of the majority community in a multicultural society. This is absorption that takes place in a one way direction as the minority communities are required to learn the customs and traditions of the majority community giving up their own or modifying them to become acceptable to the majority community. Assimilation has become a dirty word in some ways as it asks people belonging to a minority culture to give up on some aspects of their culture to adopt the ways of the majority culture to be accepted by the majority community. Thus, assimilation happens to be a process where the ethnic minority loses some of its features and adopts some of the features of the majority to appear like the majority community. What is the difference between Integration and Assimilation? • Assimilation is an attempt made by ethnic minorities, to adopt the customs and traditions of the majority community so that they become similar to the majority culture. • Integration is the process whereby ethnic minorities are absorbed into a majority culture. • Integration is taking the minorities into the mainstream so that they get access to the same opportunities that are available to the majority community. • Assimilation is a give and take process as both the majority community, as well as minority communities get affected in the process and both become a part of the larger culture. • In integration, it is the minority community that tries to look like the majority community by giving up on some aspects of its culture. https://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-integration-and-vs-assimilation/
