That's because I hadn't posted a link previously . I can see with my own eyes that people have cut back with electric usage , at night time its quite obvious to see if lights are on or off . I have been to pubs where they uses candles and not electric for light and I have asked hundreds of people whether they have cut down on their utility usage and 100 % of them said that had . I knew that people have cut down on their utility usage and as you questioned that , I did a websearch and posted the results and the Guardian was the first result to appear

No they are not , there are other things happening apart from Brexit , about 500 000 British people took early retirement at aged 50 plus from numerous different jobs and NHS staff leaving because of Brexit is a different situation

The polls were fluctuating between leave and remain in the months leading up to the vote and in the last six polls before the vote , two of the polls went with Leave and four of the polls went with remain that is hardly "home and dry"

Its not just me who has been credited with utility bills and its not just me who has been cutting back on utility usage and its not just my supermarket which was busy , that is common for the whole of the UK

The retired people whom the Government are encouraging to get back into the work force are those who took early retirement at 50 years old . Its not the retired people over retirement age (66) who are being encouraged to get back to work . Many people do shop online these days and that is the reason why retail (shop) sales are down by 30 % because its much cheaper to buy online these days with online prices 50-70 % lower than shop prices
