That's pretty much my train of thought as well. If it was known to be as simple as showing up and the DLT would rectify the situation, I could consider it. But I can see your scenario b coming into play as along with having to shell out for a new set of licenses because it was my fault for being a farang 555. I will say though as I've been living in Thailand for over 12 years now I cannot think of one time when the address was ever looked at or even considered for anything.

So is it best to have your Residence and Medical Certificates' with you when going the first time to make your appointment to the DLT or wait to see what your appointment date is? Just concerned as both certificates I believe have 30 day expiration dates' and not sure what the lag time on receiving your appointment date is especially being on the tail end of high season.

Just a heads up, I don't know if it's been reported yet but I just went to Jomtien Immigration for my 90 day reporting and was told at the front desk that it's a new thai law where you have to fill out a TM47 form and have photo copies from your passport of both your front page and current visa stamp before they update your 90 days.

Unless I'm missing something on this site, it only gives what the actual exchange rate is. The daily bid rate is what Schwab uses on the transfer of cash to baht. Using the bid rate lets me calculate to the penny how much USD are relived from my account.

I wasn't able to get hold of Grail, but I've talked to at last a half dozen other sales people and the best answer I've gotten so far is that they have a microchip problem with the ABS model that there trying to rectify.

Good luck in trying to find the Click ABS model anywhere in the Pattaya area. Neither Mityon nor Asia city motor have any in stock nobody seems to know anything about their return.
