  1. This makes me really sad. When I started coming here in 2012 I started getting into the music because it was fun to be out with friends at the local hangs and know the words. The girls used to seem to dig it too. Reminds me of a really fun time in life. The bands in those early days were so good
  2. Only buy supplements off the shops on Lazada that have the LazMall or Official Shop stamps. Otherwise you're rolling the dice. Got caught up in this a few times.
  3. Theo did a decent job, 4 or 5 playoffs and a WS...which for the Cubs took 108 years. I was on my way here in 2017 when they won it. Saw the last inning at Incheon airport. Woke up the next morning in Bangkok to Cubs news in Thai on the back page of the Times. Got my wife into baseball so I have someone to watch with. Kinda explained to her that if you were from somewhere with non major market teams you kinda needed to pick some big market teams if you wanted to see magic in October. I dont understand Chicago in general. For a city our size they dont put money into sports teams
  4. I bet your creative writing teacher loved you. 🙂 ":primed to deliver on their shameful pact." Thats brilliance
  5. Nice. please beat the Cubs. Lived in Chicago 42 years before moving here. Sox management hates us fans.
  6. Who's your team(s)
  7. Pronouns White person guilt E-Wheels Che Guevara t-shirts Semicolon tattoos
  8. "with a mere 10% chance of happening in a lifetime, they highlight a non-zero risk." groundbreaking revelation. Tell us wise sage...is there anything thats not a non-zero risk in life.
  9. I can't imagine being so miserable that I wake up one day and say Im going to start a MAGA thread on a community forum for people who have left their home countries. Get over it dude. The rest of us have
  10. If I may quote the situational articulation of Ludacris.... You doing ho activities With ho tendencies Hoes are your friends Hoes are your enemies
  11. I can't believe someone didn't jump up and kick his ass.
  12. I love insulting girls when I first meet them. If they stick around you now they're legit 🙂. Great story mate.
  13. In front of the former Glow nightclub in 2018. We were trying to get in but there was a curfew going on at the time and as we were in line the place was getting shut down for the night. We both went for the same cab at the same time so I asked where her and her friend were going. Turns out they were going to the same place so we rode there together. When we got to the next place we got a table and she handed me her business card. I think that was her attempt to make it known to me she had a career and wasn't some pick-up girl. I was impressed. And that was the beginning of it. We colloquially started calling it 'BK Taxi Love Story' after our first year. Married in 2020
  14. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Immigration will look for any way they can to find issues with your process until you either give up or give in. And ya'll know exactly what I mean by giving in. This year is my 4th time doing it and I'm still getting d1cked around and hassled.
  15. Rent can be as cheap as 3k per month and as much as over 200k. I pay in excess of 60k to live in a place that doesn't attract short times and content creators with bad shirt collections
  16. She was a pretty girl when they didn't try to over- sexualize her. She had that naturally beautiful facial structure that most Issan girls have. It's a shame to see it nearly erased. On a sorta related note i really dislikev LV. Never been a fan. Some of the tackiest big brand couture out there
  17. When I moved here permanently in 2018 (after going back and forth for the first three years) I moved here with 240 lbs of things which was three suitcases and 2 moving boxes. I fit whatever I could fit into those containers and have simply rebuilt since then. I used to have a storage locker in the US with my entire life of 42 years that I spent there thinking one day I'd bring it over. Reality is...I moved here to start a new life. I married a woman from here and didn't want to bring anything from my old life and failed relationships. So I parted with a storage locker of designer furniture (Room and Board, Design within Reach, West Elm), art supplies, actual art, cameras, studio gear, you name it... I let my ex-gf pick through it so I knew it was at least going to someone who could appreciate it. It hurt but it was a lesson in letting go.
  18. Im of the thought process that things like this rarely happen to innocent victims. We all know the scams, we all know how the supers go missing and non-responsive when it comes to deposits. That deposit was gone the month it was given. The owner never had any intention on giving it back and overstaying two weeks certainly didn't help the vandal in getting the deposit back. I would never do something like this, but I can see how someone who is less stable emotionally would.
  19. I can't really go into details here but it's happened on multiple occasions. It can be probably be categorized as "VIP Express Service" I guess
  20. Good luck on it all bud. Ive had nothing but issues with marriage visa. There's a lot of scrutiny at the immigration office in Bangkok especially if you do not own a home and rent. There's so many ways for them to deny you and make you come back. So if you go this route make sure that you follow each step to the letter. I was denied my visa and made to come back last year because my bank account slipped to 398K for a few hours while waiting for a bank transfer to clear from the US. And mind you that ws the third year I went to renew my spouse visa. They look for ways to make you miserable. Or extort you. Best of luck.
  21. She probably has no clue what you're saying. If you indeed pronounced it the way you spelled it you were asking for either gold or something about your stomach. And nung ? What does that mean? Nong? As in younger person? Sai toong na kap, probably will work. Give it a whip next time
  22. People from western countries come here and lose their minds. The things you think are gonna get you, aren't the things that get you or drive you crazy. It's the small things, that over time grate, irritate and add up that cause meltdowns like this. In addition to the blistering heat, possible dehydration, and who knows what substances ingested. Add a woman into the equation and you've got the perfect recipe for a major malfunction like this
