Shooting Claims Four Lives in Khon Kaen, Child Left Unharmed
Gottfrid replied to Georgealbert's topic in Isaan News
Sadly, another half-man, that abuse and mistreat his woman, can accept the result of such actions. Too many Thai males are in the need of adult after schooling about what ex-wife means and learn that they by that definition are free to start a new relationship with somebody else. Their wife is not a commodity that they own for the rest of their life. This is starting to be a severe illness in the Thai male society. One must suppose that the neighbors are used to hearing sporadic gunfire, as it no longer raise any concerns. Incredible! -
Body of Man Found with Throat Slit in Apartment, Najomtien
Gottfrid replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
Must be very bad staging as a person who have a deep cut across throat only walks a couple of steps before falling. If want to stage something would not leave a pool of blood where the murder took place. This is pointing much to mentioned friend, and that he had an emotional feeling after cutting his throat. Therefore moving him from living room to bed as that looks more peaceful. Now all that usually attacks because of assumptions, can feel free to do that. You all know who you are. 🙂 -
Denials, denials and denials....... It stands clear it is a measure of urbanization. Something that by size internationally defines the name of the place But you continue deny, it suits you!

Krabi mother scammed twice while trying to bail out son
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That was probably in another country. Good luck trying that in Thailand! You will probably be the one ending up behind bars, if you are that lucky. -
Still as this is an international forum, how was it regarding the international standards defining cities etc.? Still something you avoid like the plague, right?
-
Yes, because you transfer your town version of translating and force it on people. Did you look up the standards of international meanings of city? I can see that you refrained from commenting that. Was it not according to you false view?
-
Which means you translate it to town, while I translate it to city. Just because large is in the combination, does not take away the double meaning of a Thai word, as Thai language are minimized to using the same words for many meanings.
-
No, you said that, and i repeated it. If you read the understanding about how Thai language defines the two words city and town as same, you will get a better understanding.

Krabi mother scammed twice while trying to bail out son
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
BS! It´s a different shark. Let´s say like this, they are enough smart to want some form of security for a loan. Income of 150 baht is not such security. And, yes! If you had any knowledge about sharks, you would know that almost all of them make selections. In fact, that is why there are not more shark attacks on humans. -
Maybe you are not aware of this, but what you are talking about is the following: ในเมือง - Nai mueang เมือง - Mueang That is the Thai definitions you are referring to. Just because you relate to UK, you translate that to: in the town or town. In reality, it also translates to in the city and city. That means that you are once again trying to force UK ways of thinking on the rest of the world. As I have already posted to Lorry, you can see that the international standards support my definition in English. Are we finished now?
-
He just say they are all Towns, out of 2 simple reasons. 1. Thailand only define Bangkok as a city. 2. Because he is used to this from the UK, as they have a unique definition that basically goes against the world Below you have UN and Worldbanks international descriptions and measurements that are todays standard. How do we define cities, towns, and rural areas? (worldbank.org)
-
Yeah, but here we talked about where they speak khmer i Thailand, and that is definitely in and around the cities I mentioned. This is not a thread for showing off your expertise in what Thailand have as a definition regarding village, towns or cities. And, no! It´s not a city because there are buses going to them. That was just an example, that you will probably also get hooked on. Now, for the last time. Other members on this forum understand perfectly well without giving me a lesson about Thai definitions or how UK look at things. I thought I would not come to this again, but apparently you are one of those stuck up, tight arsed and arrogant Brits that we actually do not need here. Other Brits on this forum, please accept my apologies. The comment above, does not include you.
-
My god! No I don´t mean the filters. Ask any hotel as an example? Also, we have bought numerous of aircons, all the shops recommend 3 month cleaning cycle. As I say, if you don´t clean and are okay with that, just go on.
-
Can you just beat it now. UK and USA are not telling the rest of the world how to speak. Here we have an international forum, where we don´t need any teachers. You don´t need to teach me anything. The rest of the majority of the members here understood and accepted my post as it is. You on the other hand keep on, like you not have lots to do. You are truly acting like a child. Doesn´t matter what you post or what you say. Neither does it matter what you think you can teach. I will still use the common word "cities", that most people in the world would use instead of town.
-
The recommendation will still be every 3 month, even if YOU don´t clean.
-
Yes, you can. Just be sure to send the email to the right mental hospital.
-
If you search on Booking.com, you can find prices for the total time from 7 500 - 10 000 baht. That should be considered very cheap.
-
Trust no one! Anyway, the recommendation for air con daily used is a clean every 3 months.

Krabi mother scammed twice while trying to bail out son
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Agree, but there is a very strange thing here. She is only making 150 baht per day with a disabled husband. How could even loan sharks agree to lend her 100k? Even they say no, when there are no ways possible to get back the money. Or maybe she put the house and land up, but it says nothing about that. -
No, I would not call it a metropolis. There you probably only have Bangkok. What I was doing, was using regular everyday words for named locations with a fairly good amout of population. It´s like you post too strict, I would say nitpicking. I am from Sweden and there we are calling cities for "städer", which is plural form of city (stad). I know for a fact that is very common in other countries too. Therefore there are many more with me, calling towns for cities. It just super silly to pick on a thing like that. Shows, that the person have nothing better to do.
-
Yes, and it stands on the menu. We all know about this, and it´s only a issue for you. Actually they have the same system in many countries.
-
Or you can just relax and come back to Thailand when you can afford to eat without complaining.

Tourist Police Ensure Safety for Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
No, if you understand my post, I did not bring happy people down. I have no problem with people using drugs, getting drunk and partying all night. Would be a little bit bad to spike a drink and use the result for illegal purpose, but otherwise all fine with me. What my post was pointing at, which is not fine with me, is that the police are trying to proclaim something about better safety, when they in reality do nothing more than show up days before and walking shaking hand with people.
