    If USA and Europe will be approved, I would not call it a select few. Together with Russia and China, that will stand for about 30% of the worlds population.

    Yes, I speak from experience. How long and for what, is irrelevant. The smaller he can speak and engage with the Thai prisoners the more left alone he will be, as long as he follow the prison rules and show common respect for other inmates. I could speak Thai also at that time, now 20 years ago, and that made it easier for me, but also getting more demands from Thai prisoners as they saw it as I could understand both the language and the system.

    Not treating them much different than Thais. If he keep to himself and lay low, he will just be fine.

    The point here is not that a person would be willing to risk his or hers life for 150 baht. The point is that it should not exist. The violent taxi drivers are a menace to this country, and they must be put in place. They should once and for all be told to treat customers with respect, always use the meter and never carry any things that can be used as weapons to work or in their cars.

    Even if many say live and let live or it´s a free world, this is a little bit over the top. They are just doing it out in the open, not showing any respect for other people or any dignity. I totally understand that people react negative to this. Unfortunately, most members on this forum just see it as a funny thing, make some jokes and misses the whole point. This is not an ok behavior.

    I think 21 days is a little bit too short. Why not make it 90, so all the tourists can plan and enjoy 90 day Songkran holiday on 1 visa exempt?

    Yeah, but the most funny thing is that he probably compared to the price in the States as well. Otherwise can´t count, as 300 dollar would be closer to the said amount than 200.

    Oh! I have been to Pattaya a lot, and the roads are not that bad. I suggest you try to avoid the road bumps instead. Cheaper for you and better for any bike you would buy.
