  1. Maybe time to hire a shrink.
  2. Excuse me, but what are you replying to? You said your wife can not see things in traffic when talking in phone at the same time. I replied to that, with that she need to put down the phones during 5 min. Not turn off. If she miss any calls, she can just call back and messages she can read 5 minute later. There were nothing here regarding drunk driving! At the same time, I gave you my opinion and version of effects if my wife would be stupid enough to do such thing. Luckily she have not even come close to such madness.
  3. Take a read here as it already exists one thread for this thing. Read Sheryls recommendations.
  4. Taking out a beer and some chilli nuts, and sitting down in my favorite chair. Waiting for the Closseau-Team on AN to arrive.
  5. Personally, I would have hard to take such attitude from my wife. If both I and the children explains that it´s dangerous and she should use hands-free. Whatever good that does for 3 phones??? Then she would just disqualify as a material I would like to continue be in a relation with. I mean, stupidity is one thing. This is something far beyond that. She would just have to choose. Play with phones and be alone or lay them down 5 minutes and have a family. Guess she have you in an iron grip my friend ;-)
  6. Normally not. However, it might be, as they are given time to look into if the applicant has made any serious offenses or been braking the law. Moreover they can look at the persons reason to stay, and if that is correct with collected facts. So, yes it can be denied.
  7. Disgusting police work again. And the message to little Games is perfectly clear. When you point a gun at someone, you must be prepared to kill or die.
  8. Yeah, people playing with guns usually point them at themselves. I think that is a big lie, but we will see. Or not, as follow up news ain´t the Thai way.
  9. In other words, teach a lot of riders how they can push their bikes and believe they have control. It takes years of experience to manage that. This only creates a fake feeling of safety, which will turn deadly on regular roads.
  10. Yeah Babe! Look at me! What a though guy you met. I believe I can swim.
  11. AIS started with optic cables long time ago. Even spread out in the outskirts now. However they rent another net or not, I can not answer.
  12. No, you don´t. Your son, must have a friend or a family he knows, can explain to him and trust. They can receive money and give him. Or your son, can open a new bank account that the mother is unaware of.
  13. Oh, sad to hear. The thing is, that the police can say what they want. I have done it too. And they tried with me as usual, as they have a kindness kind a used rule, not law, that if you hurt someone it a common gesture to pay for hospital and repair. I just said no, and said I take it to court, as I know the law. As I had the video, they just reversed and clutched in the backpedal. I got my repairs paid instead.
  14. Yes, because of so many drivers are breaking Section 45 in the traffic law, it is unfortunately necessary to look for such idiots.
  15. You´re a funny guy! Actually, your comment is so stupid, that it would be you that needed proof for your statement. However, I will give you what you ask for. Below, I have also attached the full translation of Land Traffic Act B.E. 2522 (1979) What you should care about is Section 45. As your knowledge of the traffic laws in Thailand is so poor, I would suggest you read it all. Section 45. No driver shall overtake other conveyance by the left side of the overtaken conveyance, except in the following cases: (1) the conveyance which is going to be overtaken is turning right, or gives right turning signal; (2) such road is divided into two or more lanes of the same direction. The overtaking by the left side of the overtaken conveyance under (1) or (2) may be done only when there is no other conveyance following behind. So, how did it go now Neal? Are you going to be quiet or post a confirmation that you will read the full law? Road_Traffic_Act_BE_2522_(1979).pdf
  16. No, not turning into a Thai basing thread at all. You have found one example of a foreigner. I agree, that it a big moron and a really stupid thing to do. Of course there are foreigners that can´t behave as well and are dangerous drivers. However, that might be 1 or 2 per year that one might meet. Regarding Thai drivers, never mind motorbike nor car, there are almost more dangerous drivers in one way or another then people that actually can drive and are following traffic laws and rules. I don´t know what you are on about??? Yes, I mean mostly Thais in traffic as they are most common, but there are foreigners that are doing the same.
  17. The government, police and authorities! Just read the news before and after new year as well as song kran.
  18. Don´t go get all mouldy now!
  19. Just another guy that needs to sign up for Gotty´s attitude adjustment program.
  20. What? I was not talking about cars that undertake. I was talking about motorbike riders that do in the spillover lane. Was that so hard to imagine?
  21. No, not legal. They made people think that, by not doing anything about it.
  22. Simply out. They actually have no clue about traffic rules at all. Just check out the poor material and the little to no things you have to pass to be granted a driving license. It speaks volumes of stupidity. After that, they try to say they patrol the streets and set up checkpoints to make it safer. The only thing they do, is to put more people on the roads that can easily be wiped out.
  23. That Jamaal, sounds really British. However, not much to see here. Just another guy that with Fairbrass as an idol after looking at to many movies of Rise of the Footsoldier.
  24. Constantly undertake on the inside instead of overtake on the outside.
