  1. They are not aware of any security measures in this country. Nor are they aware of things like always looking to see everything is safe and clear. Here we have a container lift operator who just assume everything is clear as it usually is??? After that, we have a guy with headphones who assumes he can walk where he shouldn´t. The area is also assumed to be typically restricted. Besides that, the operator seems to be unaware that he are moving containers far to close to each other. As it was able to kill a person, I would not be surprised if the containers collided with each other at some moment. That is poor attention and bad work.
  2. I think we are all missing something here. Seems very strange to me, that the aunt came home only 50 minutes after the last message has been sent. That means the 12 year old girl stayed home all evening, and someone should have taken her or she left home during the 50 unaccounted minutes. Sounds too much of a coincident too me.
  3. They say she was a nurse. How would it have been with the great idea to take the man to hospital if he got worse? No, instead she just wiped with water and watched him die. Good Job!
  4. Not to worry! At our morning market, they have police standing every day. Despite that, everyone are double parking, driving too quick and stopping the once who park ok from coming out. This will just result in same. Nobody cares!
  5. Above is the reaction from citizens of the country! Still they can´t fix the problem. Totally useless authorities and leaders in this country.
  6. Let´s see if it is the teflon baht or if it will lower it´s value.
  7. Another alternative would be that they only see a very unstable market, and just interested to get the bucks and move on. But no no no! They always believe that Thailand is the promised land and the golden goose that all have soo much interest in.
  8. Yeah, that´s how they want it. Everything should be accepted. At least, they could refrain from violence. Also the sick demand that all should recognize and accept them. No way in hell that is going to happen.
  9. They have really been working hard on it today. In almost all the accidents they have managed to fubar the vehicles.
  10. Ok, I stand corrected. This was a very fortunate and lucky incident, that could have had serious complications. Running to buy lottery tickets now!
  11. Sorry, did not read correct. Saw now, that they were travelling in the sedan. My bad. @madone You comment was not included in my apology, as it was a personal attack, which seems to be very common here. Also a false statement, as I never posted anybody deserved to die.
  12. Forever if they let me, which seems to be the case here.
  13. Think the better choice will be to be home close to toilet at 3 am.
  14. Ok, must be different versions. I have only heard: Here I sit, broken-hearted, Paid a penny and only farted.
  15. Ok, and how do you know if I meant the ability or the willingness? Did that stand anywhere in my post?
  16. Have to answer with a question. Why would you be at the beach at 3 am, if not a Thai fisherman? Also, I do think the coin operated toilet facilities will still be accessible, but I might be wrong. Anyway, if at the beach at 3 am and starting to feel the need to go toilet, it´s probably a good time to go home. 😉
  17. Thank you Professor Gamma 😉
  18. Yeah, that is also one way of looking at things. It´s actually amazing how long time it takes to learn and understand here, if ever.
  19. Yeah, that´s what I mean with 100-200 meter. Yes, I know you have to cross the road, but I see that as having toilets connected to the beach to be correct. did not think I needed to point it out so exact. Absolutely no problem with that at all. If you can take yourself to the beach, then you can also take yourself to a toilet. 🙂
  20. Yeah, that is also disrespectful and uncivilized behavior. However, I fail to understand what people do in the UK has to do with this thread.
  21. Agree, that is also an alternative solution that might work.
  22. No, it´s not free here. Not even if the government or city municipality would put up facilities like you post. First, free is not in the cultural behavior in Thailand. Second, they need someone to work and keep the facilities clean, free from people using drugs and living on the streets and so on..... It costs money, and most Thais understand that and are willing to pay a small fee, for the small amount of times they are using such facilities. As foreigners, we should also understand that and don´t have problem with their system.
  23. Agree! She was also very lucky to get it back. However, sometimes, or very often, they don´t think the same ways we do.
  24. What the heck is lucky with having a cobra under the hood?
