  1. Thank you for your encouragement. I would weigh less on the Moon, in Newtons. But, unfortunately, my mass would not change.
  2. COMPLETELY FALSE. The older you get, the more you need a trainer.....
  3. I can dig it. I can dig this.... Small town living in New Hampshire.... I also like the demographics of New Hampshire. I prefer to live in a racially homogenous place, although I do not care about skin color, as long as most people have the SAME skin color. So....if all the people where I am living are YELLOW, then fine. Or, if all are white, then OK. Etc....Etc..... New Hampshire is quite a beautiful place to live. In the winters, you have a fire in the fireplace. And, the colder it gets, the fewer riff-raff sleeping on the streets. Maine might be OK, too. But, only the most NORTHERN parts of Maine, in my view. Not sure how much it costs to live up there, anymore. I have not been in the USA since 1990, the year Bill Clinton was elected.... Note: I haven't returned to New Hampshire since 1960. Has the place changed much since then? Or not.... IDK.... Note: Vermont is not so nice as New Hampshire....but.....Fitzgerald can't be beat....
  4. This is very good advice. Someone who is near and dear to me had suddenly lost weight. Turned out to be cancer. The weight loss occurred about a year before the diagnosis. IF the weight loss might have been seen as a warning sign, ... Then... The cancer might have been detected FAR earlier, when there would have, most likely, been sufficient time for a cure. Of course, such weight loss, due to cancer, can normally be easily detected without a scale. I just wish that the weight loss had been seen as a warning sign, and so unfortunately it was not. Terrible, really.
  5. Addiction affects somewhere around (approximately) ten percent of humans. There is no cure. The only solution is to.... Send them to rehab? But, then....some will tell you...
  6. Learning to ride a motorbike is as easy as.... Well, as easy as falling off a bike. I advise against a bike or a motorbike, or a Yamaha...in Thailand....
  7. Yes. Best for us to make a resolution in 2024 to this effect, in order to reduce stress.
  8. Yes. The title of the tune is a bit misleading.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexy_Sadie
  9. OK. Looks good. I just bought one. One for each foot. Thanks.
  10. To be clear... Drambuie is not such that it should be drunk by the gallon!
  11. What? Are they on Valium, or something?
  12. Drambuie is not to be drunk by the gallon!
  13. I just wish I could afford Drambuie. Instead of beer. But, I am not willing to pay that much for it in Thailand. Maybe, then...just do away with alcohol, altogether. Be thrifty should be my motto in 2024....
  14. Stress reduction is something that all of us might benefit from....(or most of us).... Hopefully, 2024 will be a year of reduced stress.
  15. I prefer to be in the nude for weighing, like the hog that I am.
  16. Far better than weighing oneself biennially, as has been my wont during the past decade.
  17. So...Please do not neglect my second question in this Topic.... What is the best scale on Lazada...IF you, yourself, might have purchased one recently. I will buy tonight....on Lazada...IF I get some valid info here. Thank you.....
  18. This, as I thought, must be absolutely CORRECT! Logically, anyway...
  19. I have much trouble doing complicated wiring connections under my many desktop workspaces. Sometimes I must call my young female friend to help pull the wires up and around the legs of my tables. Also, when I get down on the floor to do anything, I find it very difficult to rise again. Often, just getting up off the floor causes me to huff and puff. This is not good. Losing 10 kilos will be all that is needed.
  20. You mean that you think that a scale cannot be a motivating and reinforcing factor in weight loss? I do not know. I have no knowledge or experience. I have never tried to lose weight before. So this is a new endeavor for me. I just realized that now it is more difficult to tie my shoes, and to move around effortlessly, as I once did when I weighed less.
  21. I do not doubt you, but this is not the same environment in which I live. I am just lucky, I guess. Sorry that you must deal with what you describe, however....
  22. Thank the Lord, I now have a wonderful neighbor. Such a godsend. Some old lady that is very friendly and kind and quiet. I could not ask for more!
  23. Do you have any intentions to reform yourself in 2024? Do you have the will? Personally, I intend to become more motivated in order to become less slothful. Also, I might give up celibacy, if I find an excuse. What are your intentions in 2024? Regards, Gamma
