I have lived on Samui for 12 years (less than 4Km from that waterfall)..... I am glad to say I have never attempted to go up there as I was warned many years ago by locals just how dangerous it is! Young and foolish or Just Bad Luck? Poor Girl! RIP

My comment was borne from the assumption that at 85 the guy is incapable! Some are stronger than others. I hope I am as strong as my Mum is now.....IF I make it to 85!

My Mum is 85....Will be 86 in June! Before Covid she lived 6 months in the UK and 6 months in Australia each year. She is just applying for a 10 year Residency Permit in OZ! Get a GRIP!

With the World in turmoil following the Covid Pandemic, the ongoing situation in the Ukraine and the Worldwide impacts of both the "Markets" have been up and down.....(Like a Bride's Nightie).... I invested in an ETF .....Oil (Wisdom Tree) Ticker "PCRD" in January and it has done nicely! I believe that with the European wish to remove themselves from high dependance on Russian Energy and that when China opens up again that there will be a huge demand for Oil again. I also have shares in a few BioTech companies but, I want to diversify more! May I ask what you think are good potential shares? I am wary of "Tech Stocks" as they are so volatile at the moment! I welcome your ideas. Many thanks!

When we were young we all thought we were Invincible! I was a Professional Diver in the North Sea and on vacation I would go Extreme Skiing and Paragliding! I have seen many people get serious injuries and sometimes die! I was sad at the time, but thought "That will never happen to Me". This is a young guy without the common sense of Old Age and Experience! I am 64 now and still ride Motorbikes and have had several "Near Misses" .......You know what it is like driving over here? Please have some compassion!

I was recommended to buy a Higher spec Dell by my local "Techie".....She says they are good! But, when I asked where to buy.....She said "From me"! I have read up on Higher End Dells and they seem okay!......

Most tourists fly Long Haul and pay for decent hotels as part of the holiday. The extra cost of flying with Bangkok Airways to Samui is a "Drop in The Ocean"..... Or is that "Free" with Malaysian Airways and Lion Air???

Update: Some strange things have happened! I was trying to order a new keyboard and battery for the HP Pavillion whilst I was waiting for delivery of the New Dell Inspiron which I had ordered from Powerbuy!.. I was told the new HP keyboard and battery would take anything from 30-45 days to deliver!...... So I went back to the repair shop and retrieved the HP and bought a Logitech Bluetooth Keyboard so that at least I could use it whilst waiting for the Dell to arrive. Logitech keyboard worked fine with the HP Plugged In at the mains and then by chance after a couple of days I tested the original keyboard and it is working fine again. Then there was a problem with the Dell delivery from Powerbuy...."Lost in Transit". Powerbuy offered a refund rather than a re-order so I said yes! HP is working GREAT AGAIN apart from no battery (No Problem) and I will take take a visit to a local "Bricks & Mortar" establishment before I get my next laptop!.... I will never buy anything of significant value online in Thailand again! Ho-Hum....TIT!
