How absurd! This new change which I reported is in effect now and applies to ALL applicants. Well dressed ones, poorly dressed ones, polite ones, and rude ones. That is a fact.
I have already stated that exactly the same thing happened to me, as happened to Jingthing, when i applied for my non immigrant O marriage extension. They required 2 hand written forms, they did not require these last year. What is so difficult to understand

Update: I received my new passport today having applied for it on the 23rd of September, so quick turnaround.

My prediction is an All Blacks vs Irish final.
Got that one wrong.
Yeah, hope I didn't jinx the ABs too
Well played Wales, but the French will prevail against them next week.
Now that England are out I will be following the AB's. but very well done to Wales.

"they taught me some basic ways of cheating".
Sums it up for me.
Som nom nah
Maybe she was drugged.

Haha funeral director is ok?? Shame I dont know any... Anyway if its really not needed for renewals then thanks so much for the info! Ill just leave the box blank and hope for the best. Cheers!
Noz, I left mine blank and just got the receipt for payment from HK today, so it has gone to the UK. You should be fine.

Wales were impressive tonight, dont think England can beat them, should they get past France
Really enjoyed that game as a neutral, some great rugby and loads of effort. It will be an interesting afternoon with England against the French and as usual it will be a battle, could go either way. Come on England!

This explains things quite well.
The slow death of the pound….
In 2007 a single pound could buy you $2.10 or €1.50 – not any more. And it’s only getting worse from here on in.
-
I applied to HK on the 23rd September and I have just today got my payment receipt returned from HK. The letter contained a note saying that the Passport would be deilvered separately from the UK. No time scale given.
-
This also applies to non immigrant O extensions based on marriage. I was there 2 weeks ago and was asked to do the same thing and told that a copy was no good.
I agree Jing Bizarre! Just go with the flow.

Much of the IKEA range is produced in Asia, so one would think that they would be cheaper in Asia than Europe? No?

Here is a current map mate,
Current my arse! That was back in March and focuses on the unseasonal deluge in the southern provinces. The current flood hysteria is about the run-off from the seasonal rains from the north and north east.
In defense of bangkokrick, there was a map but not on that page, had to go select another link on the page... below
Thanks mate,

Copies or originals?
I just applied for my marriage extension at the Chonburi office and they wanted 2 copies of everything and just to see the originals. For the first time I was asked to fill out by hand 2 TM7's complete with photographs?
-
From Keighley too mate. An old souly Gaz Greenwood is running the Keighley OKEY club. Maybe you know him?

What passport photographs do I need?
You need to provide
- two identical passport sized photographs. These must comply with the IPS Rules for Photographs although for overseas applications the background of the passport photograph required can be white and do not have to be printed on plain white photographic paper.<br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; ">
- Countersignatures on the back of your photographs are not necessary and the countersignature box on the application form does not need to be completed if your appearance has not changed significantly since your previous passport was issued.
-
If you are renewing a passport and your appearance has not changed significantly compared to the picture in the old passport the application does not have to be counter signed. I have just applied for a new UK passport and it states the above on the website.

A few things.
A) Thailand is on the Human Rights Watch List for countless violations, especially regarding prison conditions. His attorney's will probably be all over that in an effort to stop it.
The U.S. actually DOES have jurisdiction, and grounds to request he be sent there for trial, due to the fact that he not only killed a U.S. Citizen, but a member of the U.S. Military who was on medical leave from active duty. I think maybe they might be waiting to see what happens with the extradition to Thailand. If this scumbag is able to successfully stop being sent to Thailand, then the U.S. will probably start extradition proceedings to have him brought there for trial.
As a former Marine myself (20 yrs), I would love to see them send this guy to visit the unit Dashawn was part of. Trust me, justice would be served.
Agree!
The you are as bad as the murderer if indeed he is guilty. Please can we leave out these mythical marine codes,

I used an agency and they provided the 2 Thai witnesses. Simple. Not sure about western witnesses.

The links were on the kink page that I gave, but no worries. Hope you enjoyed your sleepover and also your breakfast

So the article was misleading as it's title was. You got out of the wrong side today?

Note: I am so far the only one who has even acknowledged this news item, which was posted 37 minutes prior to the "Dirty dancing" article. , whilst that "Dirty Dancing" thread has already run into several pages. Pathetic indictment of why the majority of farangs are in Thailand? Or is it just the sort of creeps who lurk in this forum?
Thanks at least to admin for the info.
I am in Vietnam and we are being battered by a hurricane. Everyone was sent home early from work because they say it's going to be a big one. I just hope that it does not make it's way across to Thailand from here as they have enough problems already.

I'm a Derby County fan!
Are you planning on watching the match v Leicester this weekend?
I live around Sukhumvit and am thinking Soi 8 if you fancy it.
My God now there are 2. I always said that if you stood still for long enough in Bangkok, you would be cloned

Shouldn't the headline read 'Thai government cancels all its pre-election promises now that it's in power and those who believed the nonsense that it promised can sit and swivel' ?
Good line! Sums things up nicely.
Strange New Enforcement Detail At Jomtien Immigration

Jingthing that was not aimed at you I am supporting what you say. as regards dress i always think that it is best to make an effort when dealing with immigration. Does it make a difference? Maybe not but it shows a bit of respect.
Again I agree everything else must be in order.
