I live in Khlong Toei, the centre of the covid outbreak, and there are bars and restaurants that have remained open throughout. Once people start to frequent restaurants and bars (bars that suddenly stick a BBQ out front) the whole thing will break down. I have driven from BKK to Chaiyaphum to BKK to Pattaya to Rayong during the "checkpoints every where no provincial travel"......not a soul to be seen at any of the check points.

I don't expect these rules to be applied, if they are it will only be for a week or two at the most. The Thais just don't stick to these types of rules for any length of time.

They don't go into what you refer to as hospitals, they are more like small aircraft hangars which act as holding bays for the infected. Not a bad idea in principle, bit like religion, capitalism and Communism. They all work well as long as human beings aren't involved.
