    Similar story............... met in August 2006, got married after three days (bit rash some might say?)......she was 36kg and has rocketed to 40kg......I was 90kg and got down to 74kg......still together. She has now cleverly trapped me by buying a three bed house with her own money (we both worked abroad 2006 to 2019) and now makes me live in it for free.....beatch.

    I always thought the law makers were our 'elected' representatives in government, the judiciary apply the law (fairly...555)......the police are there to police the population according to the law...............it's not up to the police to decide what the law actually is, should be, or if it should applied or dis-applied......what am I thinking.....this is Thailand.

    I can certainly remember the winter of '63......schools didn't close in those days. The snow was waist deep and it was the best part of mile's walk.

    I have a couple of very distinct memories from 2 1/2 years old (then nothing until much older)............five of us had had to live in a tiny, one bed caravan through the winter of 1958 and certain scenes have stuck.....could always be false memories I guess.

    Not looking for an argument......but I really don't think your two week tourist knows about this stuff or if they do.......it's only a two week holiday....... so they just don't care. I first started to travel to Thailand in 1990 and was oblivious to coups, financial crises, crime, scams....etc. It's only since living here I have become aware of the darker side.
