    Bills as low as 800 baht in the 'winter' months, last bill Mar-Apr was 4000 baht.....it still averages itself out to be dirt cheap compared to rip off UK.

    During the Songkran festival in Pattaya, a Turkish man named Mustafa A........... ............. walked past a shop in Dalyan, Turkey, years ago, the name of the owner was emblazoned across the frontage......Mustafa Kipp.........shop was closed.

    Just read in the BP that 70% of Thailand's electricity supply is bought at 9 baht per kWh from a private company..........I just wondered........could there be anything dodgy going on?

    The penalty for this offence is imprisonment for two to six years, a fine of 40,000 to 100,000 baht, and the suspension or revocation of the driver’s license. Hands up anyone who believes he will receive this, or even any one of these penalties.

    Domestic electricity prices have to remain high and poor people will have to pay the price.......it's the only way to off-set the electricity costs of CP and protect their ever increasing profit margins.

    It is. Just like other religions. Promise those living a miserable life that they just have to behave well, give lots of money to some con merchant calling himself a monk or priest and next life or paradise will be so good. That's what religion is for.

    Household waste collection, where we live, is excellent......always on time, once a week without fail......anything bagged up and left outside is collected.................go for a walk and there are big, black bin liners dumped all over the place ..........?????? What is wrong with people?

    Your average two week tourist couldn't careless about this tax, air quality or military coups......once they set their sights on a holiday here nothing will stop them.
