    Utter tripe.....not one single farmer has been persuaded not to burn.....I'd put money on it. The burning season hasn't even begun. No action is being taken or will be taken. There is only one solution re: sugarcane......all sugarcane to be delivered to the processors with the leaves intact. The processors remove and mulch the leaves.

    Contrary to your implied accusation...... I am more than happy for people to be held to account......I'm just surprised the Tories weren't so concerned for the 14 years they had the opportunity to do something......and now....suddenly....????

    So if you are in receipt of a government pension it is exempt? I receive three pensions and rental income, one of the pensions is a government pension....they all go into my UK bank account. So as long as I only transfer an amount equivalent to my government pension each year I'm in the clear?

    Why would you need an enquiry? If there are laws in place and they have been broken just prosecute the guilty. If no laws were broken then the announcement yesterday should address that......but I can't imagine the law can be applied retrospectively.

    That being the case the vote was staggeringly tight and far from a ringing endorsement of Trump.......don't you think? If your contention is correct I would have expected a resounding victory in the popular vote for Trump. Childless cat lady, mixed race and crazy policies......and still came a close second.

    He has no opportunity to serve a third term, so he doesn't care about the consequences of his actions, he has (or believes he has) presidential immunity for his actions anyway, mixed that in with his unbalanced state of mind, and the World is in for a rocky few years.
