Property in the UK, ties to the UK, no property abroad, returning to live in the UK property you own......that kind of stuff?

I guess they are being kind. These flat Earth people are easily destroyed by someone who is articulate and presents real evidence in a coherent manner. Flat-Earthing is more of a mental exercise for many, but for some they actual start to believe.

Get a list of requirements from your IO, not one from the tinterweb (if they'll give you one) and go through it with a fine tooth comb. We still come unstuck every year (been married for 18 years). I I doubt even the most staunch climate change skeptics would deny sea levels have risen since measurements began (circa 1880s). The arguments will as to the cause(s) and if the current (pun?) rates will increase, be maintained or even reversed. At around 3mm/year and at his age, I doubt Obama will be panicking.
