  1. A "teacher" with the title Acting Sub-Lt Thanawat Iam-oat. Sounds like a police officer! Moonlighting as a computer teacher and insurance sales.
  2. Maybe Assistant Professor Dr. Prasaeng Mongkolsiri, President of Krungthep Thanakom and the committee and whole board needs to have their wages frozen until their companies debt is paid or the situation resolved..
  3. Otherwise use https://fastship.co/ For express shipping..very efficient
  4. Thai Post office E-packet..upto 2kg per parcel. Reasonable rates and shipping times. Note anyone in the EU has to pay vat and service fee. Mark it clearly as "Gift, value not exceeding €45" Possibly list the items.
  5. They have had 4 years to plan for this...so they think "ahhhh let's wait until 4 days before" would the tv channels even have time to rig it all up in time now?
  6. But it does, because PayPal chose not to allow other proof of ID recognition.
  7. It seems financial crimes get longer prison time than manslaughter etc.. school principal ripping off the school lunch money gets 199years.. this guy will probably get very low or zero prison time, especially if he has enough money to pay the family!
  8. what would be amazing would be a website were you could find information about the individual project.
  9. Well this really is a load of <deleted>! Extremely poor judgement!
  10. Actually not so..we are in Thailand. And deliver locally around BKK.. only option is seller's own fleet.
  11. A question that hopefully some one can answer. If you are a resident of Thailand with a Work Permit and Social security (medical) do you still need the insurance? I'm looking at popping back to the UK for a week in April to see the family. Can anyone with WP etc whose come in recently let me know. Thanks
  12. Does anyone know if you still require the Covid insurance if you work here in Thailand and hold a work permit and social security number (health care)?
  13. Okay. For me it doesn't matter because as soon as it goes above like 1kg it's cheaper to send by express
  14. According to their international website. The per package insurance is actually less unless you go for a specific postage, I could be reading it wrong though: https://international.thailandpost.com/services/registered/?lang=en
  15. If you say so..the photo shows 200g to UK. 65b difference in price. Almost identical delivery times. I prefer e-packet personally. Also to certain countries such as Canada, e-packet is quicker than registered post.
  16. I've had e-packet delivery returned..it depends on the country if it's destroyed for non delivery. But from Spain it was returned. I use E-packet pretty much every week to Australia, USA, EU etc. Never any problems. By far the most cost effective Thai post option for small boxes etc
  17. I use E-packet all the time..it is very reasonable, tracked and reasonably quick. Small packet air is a serious ball ache..the package needs to be tied with string..also look at Fastship and PP shipping for USPS to USA.. very good, quick shipping.
  18. Unfortunately ANUTIN is also a Deputy Prime Minister.. He's just flexing his "muscles" to see what he can get! But from the sounds of things just more "committees". From reading here I think every Thai government committee has at least one or more sub committee!
  19. So the lottery that was initially setup to help the poorest people will become nothing more than an online "earner" for the government! The fact that people are dumb enough to pay inflated prices for their " lucky numbers" means it literally just supply and demand..I really don't know what the hassle is letting the sellers set the price!
  20. If it via a post office then final delivery would be via Thai post. It may be held up for a tariff check. Usually you need to attend, but I believe you can sign a document authorizing them to open and levy any taxes etc..
