  1. There was a THAI landing with same route 5 minutes later.
  2. As i live in Pattaya, i've travelled for 4 weeks to my home country in Europe. My good decision was to made the COE early October. So i didn't need the Travel Pass as i came back to Thailand yesterday. First, i completed the paperwork, i received the COE after 36 hours. Before my flight back, i had to do the PCR Test in my home country, had to wait 6 hours for the result. At the Airport it was quite chaotic, they checked all my paper at checkin. And the same again at the gate! A lot of passengers were a bit confused. About 80% of the seats on the airplane were full. I was surprised. The phrase "no one travels to Thailand" seems to be wrong now. After arriving at Suvarnabhumi, everything was well organised (better than in my home country). A lot of travellers at the Airport. Hotel pick up was well organised. Me and two other traveller went with a Van to the same hotel in Bangkok. PCR Test 30 minutes after arriving in the hotel by hospital nurse. Had to wait in the room for 12 hours (feeled to me like endless 12 hours) until the evening to know the result. The morning staff told me, with a negative result, i could leave the hotel immediately. But finally other staff told me i have to wait until next morning. Ok, was late evening anyway. Ordered a Taxi online, checked out early, and travelled back to Pattaya where i live. Travelling to Thailand with all correct paperwork is not a big thing. I think, those who want travel to Thailand should travel right now. In December to March i guess it will be more difficult again with Covid cases going up in many countries.

  4. Wrong. Before 1st Nov. approved CEO remain valid
  5. Seems it will be done the same way as for the last two times. Alcohol allowed in eateries, if this works smooth, bars could reopen two weeks later, so probably mid of Nov. At least in some Provinces
  6. 1 day packages now begin to show up. Contacted the hotel and i could made the change.
  7. My COE is approved and i have 7 day ASQ reservation, hotel named on COE. Something "inside Me" tells me to keep it that way. (I left Thailand a few days ago, return mid of November) Yes i throw money out of the window, but as i live in Thailand, better be on the safe side. Agoda still no shows 1 day/Pcr packages anyway
  8. Of course i was, all the time. But since 2001, more and more of those are gone. In the 90's when a Girl was wearing a Bikini, everyone knew, she was new...
  9. The Era of the famous "old style" a gogos is mostly over since 2001 when they did the first crackdown. Since then, if i want to see girls in Bikinis, i can walk to the beach...
  10. The big, unclear annoucement and since then complete silence, as usual.

  12. Good news. Someone has to check the vax certificate. So COE will still be needed. btw not a big deal, i did it already
  13. No high rise buildings. This was also the idea in Hua Hin. Then, around 1994, a person with highest influence gave green light to build the Melia hotel. (today Hilton.) Then, the charme of Hua Hin came to an end quickly and i left.
