Since the begin of the Pandemic Sophon TV have lost many subscribers (many living here pay the amount hidden in the monthly Condo rent). I guess this is the reason while many western channels are gone.

Yes, many Thais like useless noise. They don't like silence. One of the reason Pattaya/Jomtien will never become a "World Class Holiday City" as they wish

In my Condominium some of the staff got the virus in November. One was sent to hospitel, all others 3 in Condo Quarantine (Room) for 14 days.

To be fair, it depends from Condo to Condo (management). Especially in Pattaya
