  1. Just happy I was never a wine drinker, as they are silly priced here. Just which craft beers were cheaper. Thailand is expensive for Alkys with good taste ????
  2. #1 ... BS #2 ... if countries go Anti-China and start producing at home, yea, not inflation, just more expensive. Big corps have the product produced elsewhere for reason. That along with silly policies, B's newest, EVs must be 'made in USA' along w/batteries of, to qualify for govt incentives ... Good Luck with that one. #3 ... non essential social programs, or 'incomes' people didn't pay into, will drain the budgets. Sooner or later you run out of other people's money. Or they tire of carrying the load, like myself, taxed @ 40% ... so I stopped investing & left to greener pastures without all the taxes (RE/school, etc)
  3. I just fast forwarded to his text portion of vid, and obvious he doesn't know what the vendors require before using. If a card, well I guess you should have got one prior to popping in to use. Taking battery down to such low level just shows he isn't that smart to begin with. Pretty much his experiences in life come down to 'user error'
  4. Use booking.com, and filter 'price (lowest first)' & Nana/Suk Start at ฿158 13 options under ฿300 for next week (25th)
  5. That's silly. Corrupt cops don't care about the color of your skin, just the color of your bank notes & how many.
  6. Ya think ... If I believed the news, I'd never leave my house ... every country.
  7. 4 mill ... hmm Kind of impressive and more than I would have thought, no matter who or what the reason coming/going.
  8. Permitted ? Do you mean blueprints from architect/engineer & submitted for approval ? Of course, and I will raise the specs when I feel the need, IF contractor doesn't. 2nd house we both agreed to put a bit more steel at couple spots. I've been doing RE for 40 yrs.
  9. From an OZ news-blip: " MG ZS Hybrid SUV revealed, with a new name Australia's top-selling small SUV, the MG ZS, now has a hybrid option in Thailand but it's unclear whether it'll come here." https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/motoring/mg-zs-hybrid-suv-revealed-with-a-new-name-c-7850710
  10. The roofs aren't going anywhere, and the carport (5.5m extending out) covers half the W exposure ???? Living space is 'within' the red'. If reading, exposed part of W wall, interior, is walk-in closet and acts a nice buffer. W has minimal glass exposure, and 2 section that do, will have curtains, maybe. One is the entrance door, and the other, as small window in bedroom. If so, it won't be to keep out heat, but sun glare. So far, no prob. Not that any of that is needed, since ACs are on at sunrise. Sun stops coming in sliding glass doors to veranda at 0800hrs. Veranda roof has plenty of steel w/finished under/ceiling, so wind will not get under it. 3rd house, and I've never lost a roof panel yet, whether crete or steel. Weather has never been an issue with any of my properties, TH or USA. Build it right the first time, and you usually don't need to repair later. Thanks for the concern though ????
  11. Save the Planet ... ???? Wee bit of overkill. What the hell you going to do with that. Just proves big oil & auto makers only care about profits. Ford made $17 billion last year, with most oil companies racking up record profits with their price gouging. Everyone talks a good game, but nobody cares; govts, oil/auto industry, customers. Solving problems is easy, IF YOU TRY. Stop crying about GW, CG, rising seas, air pollution ... ... Som nam na
  12. only 68 more provinces to ask about ????
  13. System only installed 15 days, and rained almost everyday, so no cleaning yet ????
  14. https://aseannow.com/topic/1264995-cheapest-good-weed-now-i-found-350-thbgram-but-not-cheaper-yet-any-idea/page/10/#comment-17484339
  15. We own the lot across from us also ... After last house on 2 rai, I'm done with lawn care. Plenty off green around us.
  16. Unless you live out in the villages / rural, TH is not the place to learn how to ride a MB.
  17. That was only 1 site, and not sure what the 13% was, and high of 35%???? Another stated 17 with another stating 20% But who is testing these, (if anyone) and verifying what strains they actually are. All a bit silly if you ask me. The Thai Stick & Green Crack I bought & smoked were basically identical. Who's to say what it was. Both could have been the same, or neither and something entirely different.
  18. So I guess they are 'self rating', sort of like hotels in TH. Really, it's 5* ... OK, no pool and only 1 restaurant, and open for brekkie only. Got it ... ????
  19. depends which site you're reading, I just read 3, and all different. 17%-35% one site all over the place:
  20. Sadly that mirrors most countries ... even TH ????
  21. Neither upset nor anti, as pointed out, I enjoy a doobie now & then myself, 'at home' or surfside, or where ever. Go to Patts ... NO THANKS, let alone sit indoors at a beach location, just to smoke a doobie at a premium price. I was out & about more than a few times today; park, surfside, relaxing on the veranda. Even made a Makro run. Don't really need to go out, as lovely view from right here in the AC. Honey ... get me another beer ... ????
  22. Posted so people can decide for themselves what 'public' & 'smoking' is, and the law for it. If they think smoking ganga in a place that serves the public is different than what is in the written law, then UP2them, if wishing to test said law. What ever you do, don't buy a doobie and go smoke it at the beach ????
  23. Possibly a 2000 baht fine. Vendors get 20k fine, I think. But as already stated ... coffee shops may be offering a bit of 'tea' to hide behind the smoke & mirrors. https://www.holidify.com/pages/smoking-in-thailand-2597.html#:~:text=Source For smoking in public, around THB 2000 or more.
