If you’re in cm or the north then if you don’t have a car then rent a car (easiest) and drive to chiang khan, park and walk to the border exit and hop on the bus to the Lao side. If you want to do a quick turnaround then be sure to let the Lao IO, then you’ll be on the next bus to chiang khan -
Ever consider closing the windows and turning on the ac & or fan??? This trick worked good for me ????

I lived in a new apartment in what was then a quiet convenient area in cm, then came the restaurants and the street got busy, and earplugs at night, then I moved mostly because of the loud fart cans on the motorcycles wizzing by the building.

Yes, all the time. Phone speakers don’t produce boombox sound levels. can barely hear family members in the next room playing YouTube. Hearing the music of security guards outside playing music on their phones? 5! Give me a break, unless you have super hearing

I personally wouldn’t take a bus or use a a visa agent for a border run, rent a car for ~1000฿ per day from cm to chiang khan and enjoy life ????

Just to be sure, some of the Samsung models have the filters fitted in the hatch/door. I do my business at Chiang Mai air care engineering on the 118 just pass central festival on the left. Not sure if they supply Samsung products.

Definitely an immigration status/visa issue. I dated an immigrant from a neighboring country and she needed permission to leave cm provenance whenever we took a trip. We had to travel to her amphur to get a 24 hour advance permission. Its assumed you’re here on a visa behalf of your child. I dated a Chinese national under the same circumstances, she didn’t want to deal with getting permission. -

Ha! Total stereo typing. Most of what I’m talking about here are well educated and have good jobs. But if for those hanging out at the bars and with with beggars, then one will definitely have a different perspective.

Why do you want to know? Not trying to be presumptuous but the question arises, ever talk to people respectfully, or is there something else swirling around in that mind that impedes the process? I’m not going to give a lesson here social skills or how not to be socially awkward. Tough I’ve noticed some do have such issues.

If you’re looking for looks, then maybe go somewhere that has that kinda thing going on for your type. If you have ulterior motives then you’ll get nowhere with most in these parts, you’ll only scare them. Though one can always head down to pit next to the night bazaar

Yes, I have a lot of young female friends and yes we talk about a lot of different things. Most of the locals here are not as judgmental and differentiating then westerners are.

It’s part of the culture, adapt and live with it. Earplugs, close the window turn on the fan and blast the a/c. The fart cans attached to the motorcycles tail pipes are the the worst, I think it’s actually illegal in TH?

If you want salmon that has not been previously frozen, then I’d suggest grab a fishing pole and go nab the critters on your own. Or go find a dock where they’re coming in unfrozen.

Santitham is my favorite area. Lots of different shops, Kad Thannin. Id prefer to hang out with Thais anyway, foreigners not so much. Come to think of it, I’ve only spoken to one foreigner in the last two years.

Restaurant. Not a market, not going to find any frozen wild caught in a grocery store/market here.
