Petition submitted to PM to have Thaksin returned to prison
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It is the same in every country in the world including your home country, if you are so adamantly against it set up a world wide website and campaign against it, I am sure you will win at least one vote, your own ! It is a lost cause and unless you can REALLY do something about why harp on about it. -
Thai food’s bold blend of flavours: A culinary delight with a fatal bite
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Sorry but it goes much deeper than that, the pig is considered unclean starting with the fact that whilst it may keep its bed relatively clean it c - - ps on its doorstep and wallows in it, also it’s faeces is the worst and all pervading smell of any animal, yet funnily enough the organs of the pig are known to be closer to humans and more usable to us than the animal we have all supposedly evolved from, The great ape. Mind you there are more pigs than apes so the numbers for medical research are obvious. -
Thai food’s bold blend of flavours: A culinary delight with a fatal bite

And soon they will realise the horrors of obesity diabetes and serious heart problems amongst other sicknesses but hey ho who am I to advise anyone except that I am almost 80 now, have never to this day taken any of the usual meds for older people, And I have never eaten any of the items mentioned EVER, the smell coming from the cooker stack is bad enough. -
The best advice ever. Push it away or it will consume you 24/7

Is’nt the internet a wonderful thing especially the two most prominent info grabbers who are capable of analysing every f - - -t and can tell you what you ate last night, they are as bad if not worse than the Chinese government, unbelievable really when one considers they are both American companies we all laughingly know as the land of the FREE. just look at the list of email addresses you use and you will see that it does not matter which moniker you use 99% of them will be logged into one thing “ your real name “ because somewhere at sometime you used it and the info grabbers grabbed it and the scammers can find it with consummate ease.

My thoughts exactly, I know there are a lot of s - - -s in Thailand but I did not realise so many of them were so freaking heartless.

Thailand’s household debt soars as auto loans and cooperative debts spike
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Good practise and well done But I can see a future problem when your daughter goes to uni amongst all the have nots she will probably be the only have a lot and that in itself will cause her angst, the envy and indeed jealousy will be tantamount to suffering so may I also suggest that whilst you are commendably teaching her good life skills you should also begin to teach her how to handle the inevitable. Best wishes -
You, may well be fully up to scratch regarding this matter but many are not and as has been stated he is not in the U.K. and therefore it is only right and proper to direct him to a lawyer, after all if he were as well informed as you, methinks he would not be asking for advice in here. My own understanding of this and I will stand corrected if wrong is that the person handing over a POA loses control of his/ her finances. And in answer to the question from another reply, many eventual beneficiaries hold POA’s

PM to look into extending tourist visas to 90 days
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
But surely the extra in country spend is going to out weigh that loss. methinks the only real loss will be the 100 baht the IO conveniently does not give back when you hand over 2,000baht to pay the 1,900 visa charge. -
Why does this website have so many bloody adverts it has more
Jimjim1 replied to arick's topic in Forum Support Desk
So WHY should we be forced to clear the screen before we can read what we want to read in the FORUM just because some bonehead has decided to make it as difficult and obstructive as possible for regular readers. It would be safe to assume that this website is now 90% consumed by advertising that very few contributors ever read or use and we are now blasted by a very large block out ad which we have to clear before we can read the posts we want. Get rid of this 3/4 page disgraceful intrusion and let’s get back to what we come here for in the first place, that is to read the FORUM COMMENTS. The only thing ads in this format do is P- - - people off to the point of exit resulting in the bonehead having achieved nothing good for the company. If other members agree with my sentiments use it as a voting platform and put your marker here -
The simple fact that the Thai people who try to show you respect by overcoming their inherent shyness to speak English to you leaves you annoyed, Really? I wonder how they feel when they struggle to understand your obviously perfectly fluent Thai. There are some very sad individuals living in Thailand, Why do you live here when it appears that your main contribution is to insult the locals and those who post good events they experience. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Are you reliving your youth in Thailand?
Jimjim1 replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
We all know that beauty is only skin deep but I have had my fill of 20 to 30 year old high maintenance insincere dolly birds with no idea about making love and little about sex in general so I tried some of the older variety and have settled on one at 32, one at 39, one at 40 and one at 43 and what a difference this had made, much more interesting, and whilst my sags have got sags on them they don’t mind probably because they know they are heading in the same direction. They are respectful and although they know they have complete freedom to do what they want as long as it 100% includes condoms they are sincere and honest, ( yes they do know about each other) nothing is hidden. so I recommend dumping the only interested in the moment variety who all have a sick Buffalo or a dying grandma who needs hospital treatment and can’t pay for it, and try an older lady who may not be sparklingly beautiful any more but she sure as hell will be more settled and genuine especially if she has never worked in a bar or massage shop. -
No, no if he is stupid or arrogant enough to keep a pit bull just imagine what will happen when he brings a lion or tiger home

If settlement becomes the only way forward and your wife wants to find work elsewhere she should insist that part of the settlement is a glowing reference otherwise the age of your wife will have no relevance, The acid remarks offered by the existing company to any future company she makes application to will destroy her chances irrespective of her ability.

Pita ordered to suspend doing his duties as an MP
Jimjim1 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
He has clearly stated that he did not and does not own the shares, they were part of his fathers estate of which he was the executor and those shares have been passed on to other family members. However I wonder if the stirrers are trying to say that if one becomes the executor of an estate one also automatically becomes the recipient / owner of said estate irrespective of whether or not one has been left an inheritance within it in order to undermine the wishes of the people. Surely this can not be correct even in Thailand -
Listening to UK radio online (and watching tv playback come to that)
Jimjim1 replied to Kevin1908's topic in Audio Visual AV
I have exactly what you have suggested BUT I could not get it to work in the six weeks that I have just spent all over Thailand, I found that mostly I was unable to connect to the internet or if I did then everything just hung, my assumption being that the hotel internet system was not up to it as most of them appear to be still running on 3G, Any suggestions on this would be appreciated for my next visit. Thanks in advance. -
Hi, all of the answers so far have assumed that you will be handling the goods first hand from start to delivery, surely you will be presenting your own website that encompasses as many of the items for sale by manufacturers world wide that you wish to be associated to and therefore your site will do nothing more than introduce the buyer to the seller and any sales through that introduction will generate income for you paid through the company you are allied to IE Amazon etc that way you have no stock, no handling or delivery fees and any income is paid to an off shore account monthly. Why would anyone other than a manufacturer want a warehouse full of paid for stock waiting for possible buyers when the manufacturer has already covered that aspect and can undercut you in an instant.. if your website is properly set up and your word association is top line and at the top of Google, etc search engines they will open your website in the first 5 pages and your potential customer will see it and open it and proceed from there to view, order and pay, and all you need to do is check everyday that your site is still in the first 5 pages. Each search engine will have your site registered to it and each will be allied to the companies you use again IE Amazon, Etzy, Ebay etc, etc and all of them will be associated with English speaking Countries around the world. Sounds complicated? Yes it is but once you have set it up it becomes ever more easier. Now for the negative nay sayers who say it can’t be done, How do you think the big names do it.
