Are you a sex fiend or something? You have "travelled to more than 30 countries...and not one where I did not find prostitution!" Did you go to find the brothels or just "come across" the street walkers.

What a crass comment. Where is the sad button when you need it? If you display that attitude to Thai (or any nation's) Professionals who come to work for you then I am not surprised that you are not having good luck with them! You deserve the bad service it seems you experience because of your unprofessional attitude to professionals!

Spot on! or I'm glad you spotted that!

Chiang Mai Immigration Q & A - Info and reports. (2020)
DezLez replied to JimmyJ's topic in Chiang Mai
As a person who uses an agent for a legal extension which takes a total of 20 minutes a year to accomplish at the agents (10 min) and IO (10 min) I am wondering if ONLY an 2hr 10 min wait at IO may indicate I might be wasting my money! Oh the giddy days of 4AM arrivals at Prom! EX -
Sunaks first address to the British People as Prime Minister.
DezLez replied to Social Media's topic in World News
No they should not! Only the daft left would support the idea that a company can plan ahead and make their profits (or losses) under the laws existing when they made their decisions but then be told that the laws have just changed so cough up and pay an unplanned and illegal tax which will totally f#ck up your current investment plans in the UK economy. (and f#ck up the UK economy at the same time!) Oh, BTW Mr. investor please invest all that money which we have just stolen from you, and you no longer have, and invest it in the North Sea (or other essential fabric of the UK) so that we can introduce another new and unforeseen tax if you do actually make a profit and help the country prosper! -
It (IT!) is very easy to pronounce; This is how to pronounce "IT!" - IT! as in "I" in "Italy" without "taly" and the "T" as in "Tit" without "it" and if you think too much about sucking up to this then your are either IT! or a tit!

Someone seems to be mixing up his Latin. Maybe it is a result of him going on ad nauseam! -

The only way that the OP will chew your info over is to chew it up and spit out random rubbish to mis-prove his agenda! There will be some half-baked retort that it would have been even better if (insert left wing phrase or word of choice!) had happened! There really is no point in baiting the troll anymore! -

Both the above comments are false, and I have pointed them out to you with accurate quotes. All you have done in your responses is twist words to try and justify them. There is no point in having any discussion with people like you as your left-wing pro Brexit anti Tory beliefs stop you from engaging in any form of rational discussion. I will let you rant on in future without trying to point out, or ask for corrections, on your many misleading (I am being kind) statements/rants! -

That is why we left. Now we can check them and appear to be so doing though according to you we have no such system in place! I wonder how the checks at Dover were allowed to happen? -

Which is why they need to be inspected entering the UK, which could not have been done when still a member! -

And those vehicles could NOT have been inspected if still in the EU! -

Makes no difference but you can ask them to change to different dates and intervals. -
Date(s) for monthly payment of UK State Pension?

It means you get thirteen lunar month payments rather than 12 monthly Gregorian Calander payments per Gregorian Calander year, with a one-day bonus on a leap year I assume! -

Who discovered this rotten meat using "import controls"? Let me remind you - it was; Drum roll please!!!! "Port officials at Dover seized illegal products including maggot-ridden meat in a series of raids." I wonder when and by whom those UK based import controls" were set up! According to you they don't exist!!! -

Please provide the quote in the article which says that! What it says is; “None of this food meets EU requirements and shouldn’t be coming in. It is illegal for the UK market. It highlights why it is wrong to outsource our food and biosecurity controls to the EU.” This meat either originated in the EU and/or was transferred into and then through the EU where it was detected by the UK Border Security inspections which would not have been allowed if the UK was still in the EU! -

Using agents for visas

Why should a 50s year old person not be allowed an ED Visa. He may have met his potential future sole mate but wants to learn Thai before committing to marriage! -
Using agents for visas
DezLez replied to Chainsaw's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Do you have any proof of those statements? I and many others use an agent for convenience, others from expediency. Nobody apart from the agents and the IOs, I assume, know the figures for each group! -
Using agents for visas

I have used the same CM agency for many years just because of the pure convenience, At one time in CM, not so many years ago, you had to arrive at the IO before 4AM to get dealt with that same day if you were lucky plus COVID and irate IOs etc. (I know times have changed but!!). I am fully legit and pay my agent so all I do is before going there I go into BKK Bank to get my letter and updated passbook (Money in the bank fixed deposit) attend their office for 5 minutes and sign my documents, which they have already prepared and a day or two later spend 10 minutes max at the IO getting my Photo taken and signing for my extension and getting my passport back. I would rather spend my time in the bar knowing my extension is hassle free than f@rt about with the IOs and their whims! To me it is money well spent! I cannot comment regarding those who feel they have to use agents for other reasons!- 39 replies

Sunaks first address to the British People as Prime Minister.
DezLez replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Those figures do not get to your 8 million but this is what that report states; "Due to the complexity of the food aid landscape, the UK government does not hold data on the precise number of organisations which distribute food aid. Questions related to food aid access have been added to DWP’s Family Resources Survey and the results for financial year 2021 to 2022 will be published in 2023" If the UK Government does not know the figures how come you do?
