  1. Yes, avoid trouble at all costs with drunk farang. If a drunk farang does that to me, I’ll just leave like a coward then pay a few thousands Baht to a group of Thais to do the work for me ????????‍♂️
  2. That’s a wrong assumption. Never had any issues with parts.
  3. Yeah, hurry up. I think they are already sold out!
  4. At my age? I haven't reach my mid 20s, LOL. I wouldn't become as good as to win golf tournaments. But with a lot of practice I would surely get good enough to play casually and probably even beat you :P. I don't measure success in owning a Mercedes, far from it.
  5. All we say is that those who claim they don't buy a Mercedes because it's a waste of money, or because they are more expensive in Thailand, is because they don't have enough funds. Everything is relative, if buying a Mercedes means disposing of half of your liquid assets, the sure, there are better alternatives that better suit your financial conditions. If you however make in one month as much as a brand new Mercedes costs, you won't even worry about that much money, it's almost insignificant.
  6. You still can't understand that there are many reasons to drive a Mercedes other than showing off your wealth.
  7. Provided I've never played golf in my life, the odd thing would be that I was competent at it ???? If I put the money, time and interest it takes to learn golf, sooner or later I'd get there. But my interest for golf is just about the same as yours for Mercedes ????
  8. Sure they are great and expensive cars. I hate Japanese cars for different reasons, among which like I said, I am a Mercedes fanboy, and I wouldn't buy a Ferrari or a Lambo even if I had the money to buy (perhaps I do). But I stick to Mercedes cuz it's the brand I like and everything they represent. Not about money or class, you are very wrong.
  9. If that wasn't the case, why would there be so many German cars in Thailand anyway?
  10. Not really, I think you can’t see past your bias. Golf is a pretty expensive hobby, I sure do have the money to play golf, but I never will! Because I consider it a waste of money and time! However I do drive a Mercedes, because I love them, love the brand, love them in Motorsport, love the riding quality, love the comfort, etc… Anyone is free to spend their money as they wish. To some people buying a brand new Mercedes means only one month earnings. Regardless of the motive to purchase it, is it not their right?
  11. Heh, yes debt and “printing money” create value. But printing non stop create inflation… Different but in the end it’s the same as crypto. People believe in the USD, but if you come to think about it, not much backs it’s value.
  12. Easy to learn doesn’t mean I should. When you come from UNIX, DOS is very confusing. Thankfully recently they realized this fact and created the Ubuntu FS whatever that is. Correct. Most macOS users I know use the Terminal daily, not saying there are many who don’t; mainly those I know are in the same sector as mine. Yes the FS is not that great, but miles ahead of Windows.
  13. No, but perhaps you should go back to school and learn english first properly. I said having a Thai wife is even more of a reason to learn Thai. My wife is also not Thai btw ????. you’re making up the rest
  14. No, but if you had in your bank as much as 15 brand new Mercedes cost, you would surely buy one of the "premium" brands (not necessarily Mercedes, but maybe BMW, Porsche, Maserati, Audi, whatever).
  15. So what do you suggest, comrade? Forcing all the population to buy Toyota Vios and MG whatever... Nobody said anything about being rich, some people like BMW or Mercedes and so we buy them. But I'm sure that if you had everything you needed, and were looking for a car with a lot of cash in hand, you would also choose one of the "premium" brands. Forget about the cachet thingy, there's huge different from driving a Toyota Crappy to driving a Mercedes or BMW, ride quality, comfort, safety, the list is endless.
  16. At least it's proper UNIX based. Using Windows til not so long ago you had to learn the stupid, complicated DOS commands, if like me you do a ton of things with the Terminal. Not to say the inconsistent mess it is graphically. and the kernel riddled with code from decades ago. Windows is a mess and it will continue to be.
  17. Which is hardly any different to the US printing machine.
  18. You clearly have no understanding of the Thai traffic code. Just answer question, to which side is priority in Thailand?
  19. Then you must live in a different nation - maybe imagination, lol. Very few people, specially cars run red lights in Bangkok. Not stopping at zebra crossings without traffic lights is a different thing.
  20. If you drove a minimum around Thailand you would find out, that very very very few people actually run the red lights. The problem is that most zebra crossings don't have a red light, and so motorists will seldom stop for anyone.
  21. My flight in business class from Madrid to Bangkok for two people got cancelled some time ago, my refund already approved, the airline says it could take up to 8 months for the refund. And it's a tad more than 139.000 THB. Welcome to the real world! Not only Lazada.
