Congratulations on your purchase.
My Macbook Pro (late 2010) with 750GB hard drive and 8GB RAM is one of my best purchases of recent years.

Use Hirens, as said, or boot this to CD, boot from it and watch it crack the password for you.

I haven't been to MBK in awhile so I can't say for sure if it's still there but there is/was a fantastic retro game shop up on the "market" level below the cinema floor. Walk to the far side opposite to the cinema escalators (Thanon Phaya Thai side) and you will find it.
They have practically everything there including super rare Japanese consoles and games (such as the SNES CD Addon) so I am sure they will have a fair selection of NES games and probably a console or two. Prices might be high though.
It is a truly magical shop for video game aficionados. I have spent a fair while browsing through it on a few occasions.
Is there anymore info on this shop such as a website, I'd love to visit it.
Thanks.

There's a guy named Peter Wakeman who runs a place an MRT stop or two above FortuneTown. The business is named Professional IT Solutions. I haven't yet tried this place, but have had some e-mail communication, and it looks promising. You can go to the site: www.itready.co.th/contactus.php. I actually have had good and bad results at both Panthip and FortuneTown. I speak quite good Thai, so have some advantage in figuring out who is likely to be competent, but it certainly is easier when you both have the same native language. I've been planning to check out Mr. Wakeman's company next time I have a serious problem. Good luck . . . .
As a personal friend of Mr Wakeman and having worked with him before I also whole heartedly suggest him and his business for any IT related issues you are having.
Thanks.

Hello.
Who is the best agent to book with to get the cheapest flight back to the UK for 10 days in December (19th - 29th)?
So far I have seen flights all around the 50k mark (THB) but last year I managed to get 28k.
Where/what time is the best place to book?
Many thanks.

You need the English specific version of Word.
For a web program try Express Web 4, it is Microsoft's update of FrontPage in order to compete with the likes of Dreamweaver. It still has the FrontPage familiarity though.

FFVII, Gran Turismo, MGS, F355 Challenge and the Shenmue series are amongst my all-time favourites.

Hello Siam.
Where was the shop you got that from as I am looking for a PSP 3000?
Thanks.

When you post threads asking if it is possible to have a beer because you aren't sure or are scared that the local 7/11 will be closed during the holiday and need the alcohol. to get through the day.

I met a guy from here and he's a good friend.

All shops here use Ghost and just restore from the backup. This means if the backup has viruses or whatever your system will have them also. I would love to start up a sort of PC repair company so I'd be happy to help out.

OWC ships to Thailand.
I also recommend this company for Mac products.

This may do it for you.

I have met 56 women, 13 lady boys, a cat and one person I am not really sure exactly what he, she or it is, on dating sites.
The Thai sites are the most fun because they have the best cell phone movies. It is amazing what some people will do in an INTERNET cafe.
I normally have 3 on the first date. I tell them each I am bringing two friends for chaperons.
The vegetarian plate at MK feeds 4 OK and is not very expensive and the tea is free even the refills.
How was the cat?

You might consider this also;
C:Drive (partition) has your program files on it. (The Windows OS is normally installed to this partition.)
D:Drive and E:Drive are data partitions.
Partitioning a harddrive this way does have a couple of advantages;
(1) You can reinstall the Windows OS to the C:Drive without losing (formating over) data on the other two partitions.
(2) File fragmention will occur mostly on the OS partition. So, degragmenting the smaller OS containing partition will take less time than defragmenting a much larger single partiton.
Cheers
I always use this tactic if I ever partition a hard drive. Makes it easier for restoring but since I now have a Macbook I just perform regular Time Machine backups so no real need for partitioning.

Silly question but did you delete the Thai language pack from Windows itself? To resolve the issue (and restore Thai) you may need to download the Thai MUI but it is only available with Windows 7 Ultimate.

What is the software you are referring to?

Personally I'd skip the MBA and go for the MBP and then sell your current one.

I'll believe it when my Mac gets infected.

I'm not sure I can find what you are looking for but I do like your idea of an Xbox internet cafe.

The main thing to worry about is the plug type and voltage. Providing it supports the same plug and power system here there should not be an issue. I would recommend getting it modded here just to make things easier but obviously you may not be able to play online because of this.

I am more than happy with Office 2011 for Mac although Outlook is a real resource hog, even compared to the PC version (Outlook 2010).
The Mac version of Office is long overdue for an update but then, in saying that, Pages and the iWork suite is even further overdue for any kind of improvement.
