  1. It depends what kind of games you like to play. More popular games like Call of Duty may experience lag due to the number of people online playing it but other games that are not so popular will obviously have less lag.

First, start by making a list of what you like to play and go from there.

  2. A PS3, i got it and i love it. what ianwuk said is not true, the PS3 is great. and the interface is easier on PS3 then xbox what the hell are you talking about?

You must be crazy. Ps3 sucks.

    Thank you :)

Whilst the PS3 is not a bad machine it just seems too locked down and some games do look better on the 360 than the PS3. In saying that though the PS3 has some great exclusives, such as MGS 4, but games companies now realise the value of multiformat games instead of exclusives on one machine.

The PS3 can handle better graphics but the 360 has more overall polish and I just prefer the 360 controller and with online gaming being the next big thing right now we all know the 360 and Xbox Live changed console online gaming and the PS3 and Wii just played catch-up ever since.

As a freelance game reviewer for the last twelve years I've seen my fair share of console wars and such.

  3. I had this idea years ago but have never had the capital to do it. I think it is a really good idea and I have in fact seen some game shops which are trying to do the very same thing and instead of PS2's have linked 360's and PS3's.

Back it up with a good coffee shop, book section and you will surely have a winner.

  4. Try Microsoft Expression Web 4, MS's take on Dreamweaver whilst still trying to retain the friendliness and WYSIWYG nature of FrontPage.

Having learned the lessons from FrontPage, MS is probably not the way I would go for a website editing tool. They have consistently shown a complete lack of interst in following any Internet standard. Even CSS3 is still unsupported by the latest MSIE.

That is true but at least Expression Web seems a step in the right direction. As with everything MS just takes time to catch up with everyone else.

  5. As others have said, if the game is not legit and had to be cracked then the crack itself could have installed something nasty and it may lie dormant in your system under you fire up the game using the cracked EXE file and then it causes your system to do what you have described.

  6. Cherryble:

Migration assistant only migrates your settings and is recommended to be performed after a clean OS installation.

To get your desktop, email font settings etc. you need to boot off the OSX disc and connect your backup drive and choose to restore from Time Machine backup and hope it finds one and then choose that, let it do its thing (can take time) and then, upon reboot, you should have absolutely everything back as normal.

  7. My Macbook Pro used to do that but I could still force close Finder to solve the issue.

I found maxing out the RAM to 8GB and the hard drive to 750GB (I have an early 2010 13-inch MBP) soon stopped it from crashing/freezing and now it is fine.
