So why wasn't Ukraine's problems that went on for 8 years important to the US, UK and EU.
I can answer that! Boris wasn't in power then to stir everyone up. Before we had wet & woke Cameron, whose claim to fame was civil partnerships, and then the wicked Euro witch Theresa May. Both of whom would have done a Neville Chamberlain with Russia, "Peace in our Time except for Ukraine".

There are ATM's and exchange booths airside so no worry. All the exchange booth rates are the same. You need to go down to the railway station to get a better rate.

'Ukrainian missile strikes' hit Russia and blow up oil facilities supplying its troops in Donbas and countries in Europe as flames light up the sky
Fires broke out at the Druzhba Oil Depot and a second facility - thought to be a military base - around 2am in the Russian city of Bryansk, after what is widely suspected to be Ukrainian missile strikes. Images and video from Bryansk - around 70 miles from the Ukraine border - showed two columns of fire lighting up the night sky over the city, which is a key logistical hub supplying Russian forces currently fighting for control of the Donbas region. The Druzhba pipeline also supplies oil to Europe. Kyiv has not commented on the strikes, but it comes after a series of blasts in Russia targeting military facilities that have been credited to Ukraine.
It must be embarrassing for Putin that he can't protect his cities, 70 miles inside Russia, from Ukrainian missiles.
The once great Superpower is no longer so "Super". Weak army, weak Generals, weak tactics, unreliable weapons and vehicles, weak warships, reliant on mercenaries. Now their troops in Donbass have no fuel, when can we expect the long retreat back to Russia to start? 24 hours, 48 hours maybe 10 days maximum!

I think he means no one from the West is going to go into Russia and remove Vlad the Impaler. In fact I doubt if anyone from the West is going to cross the Russian border at all.

Exactly - Putin's hold on power may be fairly safe just at the moment but that won't necessarily be the case forever.
There are already rumblings of discontent.
Try some links to evidence instead of hearsay.

Why Do Russian Tanks Explode Violently When Hit? (forbes.com)Good article. Perhaps this is why the Ukrainian tanks T-72s have kept a low profile in action. ????

Ukraine LIVE: Russian morale battered as renewed assault fails – 21.8k troops 'liquidated'
UKRAINE'S resistance against Moscow's military had been "strong across all axes" and numerous Russian assaults along the line of contact in Donbas this week have been repelled, according to the latest UK intelligence update.
The Ministry of Defence added that despite the Kremlin making some territorial gain, Ukrainian troops had "inflicted significant cost" against Russian forces.
It added that Russia’s morale had become “poor” and that troops had “limited time to reconstitute, re-equip and reorganise forces from prior offensives”, all factors which are said to be “likely hindering Russian combat effectiveness."

Just one thing the tanks still over 11,000 left.
In numbers maybe but how many have been maintained in good working order? Half that figure?
Then the 5,500 tanks able to perform will make nice metal coffins for their crews.

New video here of Putin's unsteadiness and shaking:
Many suspected it after his weird meeting sign Shoigu, during which he held on to the table for 13 minutes. This is probably the clearest video of something being wrong with Putin’s health. Look at his leg & hand tremors!
I think not many realise Putin wasn't holding the table to steady himself. He had his hand on the button for the trapdoor under Shoigu which drops him into a tank full of sharks. ????
