You can try but you wont get anywhere. There needs to be a law, an enforced law, that says companies can not share or sell your data. If such a law exists then it is ignored. Put your experience down as a lesson learned and move on.
I was talking about Thai nationals and if the government wants to get tax from them, which I hope they dont, there will be a significant number returning to Thailand.
You understand everything when you realise big Pharma is a business. They are out to make as much as possible and keep their shareholders happy. As a result they will tell you anything that encourages to act in the "required" way.
Apparently production of EV creates 4x more pollution than ICE vehicles. There are a number of articles from reliable sources if you look on the internet. I would not have an EV for the following reasons:
1. Range anxiety - Tesla have been shown to exaggerate the range of their vehicles and it appears there is legal action in the USA as a result of this.
2. The cost is prohibitive compared to an ICE vehicle
3. There is no assurance that charging points are available for a long distance drive. There may be point but are they functional? Plus the frustration if you are on a long drive with young children.
4. Trade in value will be minimal
I wonder if the Thai's working in the Middle East will be happy about it? They send their money back home for the family and the Middle East is essentially tax free. Tax them on what they send home and Thailand will need to have at least 250000 jobs waiting for them as I know they wont remain in the Middle East and pay tax.
Of course, in the West there are a lot of snowflakes who are offended by a change in weather but that doesn't make it right. I have been stopped in a car in the UK for no reason and I had no problem with that. If you look for problems you will find them.
