  1. Malaysia has been on a tax grab for about 4 or 5 years already. Started before Covid.
  2. Questions about your presumed financial anonymity should be referred to the OECD.
  3. in canada uk migrants legal or not are given clothes, a place to stay, healthcare and a monthly welfare check which pays more depending on how many kids they have. while real canadians brits are more and more forced out on the streets and this is what our dear gvt does to the homeless Did you see what I did there?
  4. Your wife has one.
  5. Two working parents with limited income in a nation that has no social safety net, has easy finance on motorbikes and a police force that doesn't enforce the law, may not have the luxury of being able to drive their kids to school. I know I can't.
  6. Wow...talk about damaged goods.
  7. In order to process a claim for emergency surgery, they requested my medical history. My only medical history in Thailand are my biennial offshore medicals, so I agreed for them to be shared by Bumrungrad who did the medicals. Some three months after my claim was paid, and based on the single instance of stage 1 hypertension, they asserted that I hadn't made a full disclosure. They gave me the option to pay the excess or completely cancel with a partial refund of the premium. Also note that the claim was for a procedure that had absolutely nothing to do with any sort of hypertension.
  8. You mean like Pacific Cross did with me? A solitary instance of Stage 1 hypertension (that's non-persistent) from 8 years ago was enough for them to add a 10% weighting to my annual premium.
  9. Funny thing is you think that's funny.
  10. Wow! Look at those overheads. All those paper shufflers and office rents? No wonder their premiums are eye-watering. Meanwhile, over at WRLife...
  11. So, it's all working out fine for you here? Great!
  12. And Wise doesn't have a "presence in Thailand" either. But plenty of folks still trust them daily with their collective millions (of baht). After almost 8 years of roojai providing cheap and affordable car insurance in Thailand, there are still some folks who don't trust them or deal with them because they don't have the "presence" of an office. Oh yes, I forgot. And when WRlife pays a claim, the money comes from "offshore somewhere".
  13. In the unlikely event your flight is early, just trawl the duty free shops or walk instead of using the travelator (standing still on the travelator is even slower) and, before you know it, you will arrive at immigration tomorrow.
  14. As long as this isn't construed as a recognition of the current, totally unacceptable regimes in place in Gaza and the West Bank, I consider this pledge to be acceptable.
  15. Excellent timing. You rescued her before she became a 'cashier'.
  16. Why did he pay for an old woman? Well known fact that older women, especially those on the cusp of menopause, are hornier than a bunny on ecstasy. My former mother-in-law was bloody awesome.
  17. The Director-General of the Revenue Department, Kulaya Tantitemit is currently a Director at The Siam Commercial Bank Public Co. Ltd., a Director at Bank of Thailand, a Director at Student Loan Fund, a Director at Deposit Protection Agency, a Director at Khonburi Sugar Power Plant Infrastructure Fund, and a Non-Executive Director at SCB X Public Co. Ltd. Is that alright?
  18. Is this a quiz? OK, here we go... Because I was looking for Mrs Right Now and not Mrs Right? Now, where's me prize?
  19. Oh... so there's a chance that these 34 felony counts ARE the result of a lefty conspiracy from the Clinton's deep state cabal of satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles? I see.
  20. Your advice would fall on deaf ears as I am pretty sure that in order to boost the kangaroo court "mob-style hit-job" narrative, Trump will assert that the Boris Johnson was the greatest British Prime Minister in history at his next MAGA rah-rah event. However, we, the indolent and lackluster British electoral collective, know better.
  21. Yes, I know. I am asking a general question about 6 month passport validity! Chances are the embassy or consulate won't issue a visa if the passport has less than 6-months validity
