Rented it short or long term? Many people don't want to live like that when they are older. So you have the hassles of letting it out. When people are stuck long term in a tiny room like a college dorm they tend to complain and cause problems, want to move early, etc.

Usually they are not a problem if you get a mosquito net for your bed. It's mostly when sleeping they tend to bother you. If you have fans running around the house they don't bother much.

Most places have either security or office staff in the lobby 24/7. Why are they not screening people coming in? They could say you either need a lease, or the resident needs to fetch you from the lobby or buzz you in, just like they would for any stranger wandering in.

That airplane terminal mall is always pretty crowded with people. I think that's where many of them end up. I don't see many people actually buying things in the shops in there though, which always seem to be devoid of customers with just staff in there waiting. It's more like people are just floating around the hallways looking at the country themes on the various levels. Similar to Las Vegas where everyone walks up and down the strip looking at things, but few people actually gamble in the casino's.

Nobody is barred from the food court. I saw a giraffe of a man there the other day, a hippopotamus, and a weasel. All were served and looked to be doing great.

Not me. There's something about having my junk hanging there that does not feel right even if I'm alone. Wearing boxer trunks or underwear is Ok though.
