    They were meant to cover defaults on car insurance due to companies going bust over covid payouts 2 years ago. They did for a very small number of applicants, after the limited pool of cash was used up paying the public out nothing- no answering calls email or letters!

    Bribing IO's is corrupt, illegal and wrong, as is anyone defending such practice, or using those methods. No agent passing on bribes good or 'honest'. Using agents to save time when you are legal is another matter.

    Tim seems very supportive of visa agents, he describes paying bribes and corruption via them as just 'business' I would have thought he had higher standards than- its the Thai way so it's OK, sadly not it seems.

    Its amazing how man The cost and time of putting that right is considerable, fly home, new passport, new visa fee and flight back. I would never trust my passport to anyone, I even keep my eye on where it is at the immigration office. There may well be agents who are reliable and who never involve themselves in corruption, I just never heard of one.
