Went there with a Grammy singer last month, his home town, quite impressed. Liked the view from the volcano. The food there, and in remote Surin was far better than anything I ever had in Bangkok. Don't miss the famous meat balls outside the railway station, not for me but Black Pink Lisa likes 'em.

Lived at the Parkland Bang Na for a few years, Brit was arrested there 7 years after fleeing rape case involving his daughter. His mrs chucked herself off Beachy Head. Found him from using the same ATM every month at central. He was sent back to do his sentence. -

Very few Thais are interested in Khon, it's like watching paint dry. It has only been kept alive by certain official backers. Chinese have been doing it for years somehow, maybe bribery or company route but they own houses and land around us. Some have not been back for years as trapped back home due to covid. One family has the best house on our soi, slowly deteriorating due to their absence. -
Agree with most of that but better than it was, on the limping Tiger forum you cannot even post a music video in Thai, Yinn and myself were both banned for that, on a Thai forum. ????
