  2. There is a dip for Pa Thong Ko. Perhaps you haven’t noticed it. Usually two different kinds. Condensed milk and Sangkhaya(Pandan and coconut milk custard). Usually the quality of the dips from the street stalls is not up to scratch. I make my own if I want it.
  3. I think the point is the condensed milk full of sugar with more sugar in the iced tea. No sugar in the tea and skip the condensed milk.
  4. Yes. Phyathai Sri Racha. Though Ms Suwangatte moved on to private practice in Bang Saen. Along with the experience of others here; the best dentist/maxillofacial surgeon ever for me and I don’t go anywhere else. I even travel to Thailand specifically to see her.
  5. https://www.ais.th/12call/en/service-AIN.html International Call Service is for outgoing calls from Thailand. Nice try, but a fail.
  6. From where did you appear? I wrote to sandyf; who claimed that I was wrong. Apart from that, my advice was for the OP, not you. If you wrote that you had multiple SIM cards, the advice MIGHT have been different. Now you can go back into your box.
  7. I did my research and chose to have my work done outside Bangkok… Was quoted 65,000 to 80,000 plus extras in Bangkok. Paid 40,000 all in at a private hospital outside Bangkok.
  8. Stupid people pay stupid prices. My dentist here is world class, conscientious and very generous. Her work was inspected and praised by dentists in the U.K.
  9. O2 can switch mobile data off and on for you. Surprised they didn’t tell you that. There isn’t a USSD code for that AFAIK.
  10. Do you now agree that it would simply be better all round to switch data off on the SIM completely in one go, rather than fiddle around with settings on the phone and perhaps get it wrong? Five seconds and peace of mind or toggle phone settings and hope no accidents happen…. I guess you don’t want to lose face and won’t ever admit to being wrong.

  12. AFAIK, KDMC is based on an old version of KODI, version 17.6. We are now on version 20. Though my older box prefers 19.5. See how you go with KDMC. Otherwise you may uninstall it and install KODI proper. Perhaps start with version 19.5(Matrix).
  13. Buy an air mouse with a keyboard option. Example: https://shopee.co.th/product/144326078/4612161344
  14. Which is the sledgehammer? Moving credit from one SIM to the other AND going through the options to block data roaming via the settings on the phone or simply tapping in a code which takes five seconds? I suggest that tapping in the code is quick and foolproof. No need to waste time shifting credit and learning the settings on any phone.
  15. Explain slowly and carefully exactly what you are trying to do.
  16. It’s clear for all to see that you are annoyed, even angry. But don’t be. A voucher is actually a good option, if somewhat inflexible. So don’t accept until you are ready to purchase something, as you will have to use the whole amount at once. Otherwise you will continue to upset yourself. It’s not worth it. You are in Thailand to relax; so relax. It’s only money. Your nerves and health are worth much more. Go to do something more relaxing and breath it out.
  17. I think most everyone knows how to toggle off data roaming via their phone. But I guarantee that you will keep checking that it is switched off whilst you are abroad. Applying the code takes five seconds and then you don’t need to think about it again. But if you think that shifting credit to another SIM and checking phone settings works for you, I won’t argue. I think you just lost sight of the fact that people are here to HELP you ????
  18. Wow…. and you actually think you’re a genius too ????
  19. “If you turn it off on the phone, the SIM itself can still supply data and any accidental switch can eat up your credit in seconds. Applying the code stops this possibility altogether, until you apply the code to turn it back on”.
  20. AGAIN, you do not have to do ANY of that. That is just inconvenient and a waste of your time. The *129 option will not affect your Marathon package. It will carry on as normal when you get back, once you re-allow data usage. All the other steps are confusing and superfluous.
