Thanks for the reply. I actually walked into immigration on the 9th, saw my envelope of documents handed over the windows to a "waiting" rep, he came out and took my picture. I was there 2 minutes. I am aware that immigration is very busy now and I'm not trying to reflect that my agent has failed me. It's just that I am in fear of getting stuck in some checkpoint without permission to stay document in my possession. I have a receipt from my agent. I can "hope" that would do, but hope, is kinda like a wish, they don't work either.

Yeah, it's extremely stressful. I worked in Mexico 10 years. There it's "No problema, todo bien".

I just did it to stay out of immigration. I have everything required. I have problems with standing for long periods of time. Guess I'm off to stand in line anyway. Thanks.

Greetings. I'm adding to the URGENT OVERSTAY thread hoping someone has some sound advice. I used an agent, I know them as my landlord/condo rental agency also in a very large condo complex. My passport went into immigration on Dec. 9th. Today, I still do not have my, as requested Non Imm O visa or my passport back. My permission to stay ends on Saturday. My agent only say's "Don't worry, you will not overstay". Well, today is Thursday, I have permission on last 30 day thru Saturday. Should I go to Jomtien immigration and ask what's up? Can't really handle the "Don't worry" thing. It's stressing me. Will I be on overstay on Sunday if Immigration still has my passport? Don't know what to do. They had a police checkpoint out front here on Tuesday afternoon.

The numbers you show are correct for the charts. However, those charts are from 2002. Twenty year old charts don't reflect present day, especially for America.

Two initial transfers from the US using Wise last month, the test $100, #2 for $1000. BK Bank noted both as simple bank transfers. I asked a teller and she told me they did not identify as international transfers. I then sent $5K which did note international transfer in my bank ledger. I too marked the box for "Long stay visa".

Dec. 2015 flying out of the US. I was asked for my onward flight by Delta. I had a booking for Vietnam setup. I also had an O-A Visa obtained in person at Thailand Embassy in DC. Maybe the lady just wanted to slowdown the hansum man. Returned here a couple months ago with "Onwardticket" booked. Was not asked.

It depends on the origin of your passport. I received a 45 day yesterday, 10-25-22, on a US passport. I was with a couple and one of them was on a Romanian passport. They required him to prove a flight out AND told him they were not supposed to issue because he had already stayed 3 months, however, he was with his Thai fiance and they allowed it. Thank you once again UbonJoe. This site and the knowledge shared is invaluable to those of us that are hanging by threads out here (or think so). To find out that my feet are only inches off the ground is reassuring.

My condo realty agent also does immigration. Due to the hassle I got I decided to just let them carry the ball. I've been waiting about 2 weeks to get my first 3 months with O attached. Had the dough in the bank. Agent says "Immigration officer will call me tomorrow". Doesn't sound right to me. Anyone had that happen before or heard of it? Thanx
