I travel allot I pay a little more for the ride app's like Uber. But, I have the price upfront and know I will not be taken for a ride or over charged by a lot. I avoid the taxies when ever possible. Never had a problem with Uber and other app's. With the Taxies it is pot luck at best.

Cannot make this stuff up! Problem is Thai's will not be prosecuted or the law changed. I mean really just murder for greed IMHO.

That is how allot of the homes are bought in Thailand. Had a buddy that didn't have a clue who was the Thai shareholder on his property. Lawyers just set it up, collect the money boom you are a home owner.

Anyone that has traveled in Thailand knows how allot of the accidents happen. Probably driving with the pedal to the metal then trying to break at the last moment.

Glad I got to live and travel in a more simpler time. I remember kids looking at me scared to death because they had never seen a foreigner. Great times, Now? What a SH..

Anyone that has had the pleasure of driving the highways during this Holliday knows what a joy it is to see cars whipping past you on the highway, and driving highway speeds in the turning lane. Like watching a horror movie in real life.

It's one thing to call them names and such , but threaten to kill them is a different story.

I am always shaking my head. Thailand opens their arms to China, pushed the US out almost completely. Then complains when they do not invest in Thailand. And now China has its own problems. Really Thailand picked their partner China yeas ago and are stuck with it now. Really not an option at this point. Why would any company want to invest in Thailand with them openly courting China. Hope it works out for you guys but Thailand is a thing of the past for savvy US investors.

I think you are dead wrong! Reshoring to Mexico, South America and the US. It will take 10 years, but SE Asia will be cut out of the process. You can gripe all you want, doesn't change things. In the meantime all the retiree's in Thailand will keep being squeezed. Buckel up boys.

I did pick up some dividend stocks Friday (income stock). That is it. If we have a bit of a run I am selling off waiting for the a big drop later. Love Trump he is great!

One of the things I enjoy here in South America is the Cheese. So cheap and pretty good.

I imagine they are the ones that put them up to it. The Chinese have been doing it for years. Just promise and then do nothing. I imagine with this current President they will have a pretty hard time lying and cheating . But, worth a shot for them. The US takes a lot of nonsense, but once they are done with you they are done. I am a tea bottler, never even one beer in Thailand the many years I was there. But, I was older. If I were in my 20's when I first went there this could have been me very easily.

That is Way way out there. hahaha. Shipping furniture to Colombia... Really. I'm in Colombia now. Double pricing is about like Thailand. Gringo's stand out here and are an easy mark for the same scams in Thailand. I like it because of the breath taking nature. Thailand was stripped of Nature years ago. Clean air. Colombia is becoming the hot tourist destination Thailand was 30-40 years ago. And, I hate to see it. But, I am taking advantage of it until it gets taken over.. like Thailand. I do miss the shopping in Thailand. BKK is off the charts.
