    47 year old with grandkids. Probably could have negotiated it down to they pay you 10,000 baht. For the luxury of having a farang in the family. And hence "stupid farang" is front and center in the LOS's

    Expats see and get sucked in to the government and YouTube trolls that pump out 100% nonsense. Then get stuck there. A miserable way to spend your last days. It took me three years to finally break all my ties (hard). Best thing I ever did for my health.

    They are following China to the tee. Although I liked it when I was there. Setting up a bank account is next to impossible. So, if a tourist it makes it extremely hard. I hear in China it is even worse. Just another nail in the tourist coffin.

    Makes perfect sense to me. Thai's have a gambling problem so legalize it for foreigners and build huge gambling dens.. hahaha. That should put a bad light on gambling for the Thai's..

    Housing market was the number one investment for Chinese for 30 years. Now the market in China has collapsed. Bingo, Thailand has a surge in Chinese buying condos... hahaha. Then of course Thailand tourist authority has to get their two cents in with how the tourist market is expected to be back to normal. "Joke of the day"

    The writing has been on the wall in Thailand for the last several years. Anyone that did not see this coming deserves to be taxed and thrown under the bus. Thailand is following the China model where westerners are concerned and it is only going to get worse. As China's economy deteriorates Thailand will go down with them and the anti western sentiment will go off the charts.

    All that dust is sapping the energy out of the Thai's. Their birth rate is terminal. As is the air.. Hey baby want to get wild.. Wait, I'll put up the isolation tent and turn on the air purifiers.

    A few rich Chinese trying to get their money out of China , along with the Russian's and you all of a sudden have a headline like this. I'll check back in a couple of years and see how it looks.

    I've thought about this before, Just stay until you are caught. Then pay the fine get the ban and move on. Makes financial sense for sure. No bank hassles, no immigration hassles, no reports.

    I can see it now. A nuclear plant with a sugar cane field being burned off next to it. The pollution will be blanketing the nuclear plant.

    You guys be careful. Hong Kong just passed new laws where if you talk bad or say anything against the CCP you could go to jail for life. Even flight connections passing through China or Hong Kong could lead you to be arrested. So if you have ever said anything negative on the internet you could go directly to jail...

    Well western companies are moving out. Parts companies are moving out. So, that leaves China to support Thailand's auto market. Thailand better hope China turns around and becomes the center of the universe or Thailand will end up an automotive wasteland. And at present China is in pretty bad shape.
