I was there for many years, we used to get a big kick out of the double pricing. I had a friend from China that went with us , could not speak any Thai. He would keep his mouth shut and pay Thai prices. Me? I would speak Thai and put on a show showing I had been there for years. Didn't help at any park... LOL. Years ago some would let me threw. Now? If they could they would tack on another charge for being stupid enough to come to Thailand and visit the parks. The country I am in now charges the tourists extra for entrance same as Thailand. Not much getting away from it nowdays. Only difference here is I don't have to deal with immigration. No hassles what so ever.

Strictly depends on how much money you have in Thailand, Philippines.. Example 1: million up 18-30 years old Example 2: 500K and up. 18-30 years old Example 3: 100K and up. 18-30years old Example 4: 50K and up. 18-30 years old Example 5: Old age pension 18-30 years old If I left anyone out then it defaults to 18-30 years old ????

Yeah, the Thai's have made their bed. The Chinese economy is in the toilet. Geopolitical strategists say never to return. My opinion is it will be around but never again be the powerhouse it once was. Thai's have driven out western expats, and make it miserable for the ones that contribute to the economy. And go figure, the west, particular the US is booming. The economy here where I live about 6 months a year is off the charts. Their anti western sentiment following China's lead will drag them down a dark path IMHO. Thailand is like China IMO, it says it will open up then does just the opposite.

I can just hear the conversation in the TOT think tank.. Since the war the Russians have saved out tourist economy. Yeah, let's hope China invades Taiwan. We will be back on easy street.
