I take it from your name you are from Lomsak in Phetchabun?? Unless things have changed Phetchabun Imm Off will only accept 800K Baht in the bank option for extensions on retirement. When we all used Phitsanulok Imm all was fine. Problems started at Phetch when the Brit Embassy stopped our proof of income letters for the Combo method I tried to switch over from retirement to a marriage extension using the 40K a month income from UK, a big flat refusal...... I like many other expats I know in Phetch use the services of an agent. Please keep us informed, thx....... Just as a side note Phetchabun are still fining people for TM30 issues....

Our Amphur will provide a proof of address letter if you are married to a Thai. Its free but you need to bring two witnesses with you. (and of course the wife). I used the letter to renew my five year driving licence. The Amphur staff were very good about it and also gave an information page on what is required for the famous yellow book and ID card. For my previous five year licence I got the letter from the town Tessabaan but I was told not any more when I went. I knew about this proof letter for foreigners as a neighbour is from Myanmar married to a Thai. Amphur Wichian Buri, Phetchabun.

OP, please keep us informed on how the operation goes and price . I had a scan full admonen some 18 months ago and they found 3 gall stones about 1cm in diameter. The advice I was given as long as they don't move, ie into your bile duct, let them be. I use to be quite nauseous in the mornings and I took water with lemon pieces in, or a glass of water with some apple cider vinegar. Seemed to work, well alongside losing some 20kg in weight!. Interesting you use P-lok government hospital, I use Bangkok Phits the private one. The resident cardiologist and heart centre is very good. I have always had Thai health insurance here and the car valet procedure at the hospital entrance always gets me 555....

It does require a stamp. The information you have posted is wrong. The International Pension Letter contains all the information you require. It states clearly who can sign the form. Have you had a current letter from The Pension Service.........

Wichian Buri in Phetchabun province. A few miles from any major routes and with an old fashioned high street (Main Street for our US folk). It has a certain laid back charm.....

Non 0 retirement renewal 65k method
brianburi replied to DickThrust's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Is that on the statement from main branch Bangkok Bank in Silom? My statement from the online banking app says 'Bahtnet' for both my UK pensions being paid in. For the OP, I would confirm with your Immigration Office that they allow you to do the monthly income method. Not all do, its 800K in a Thai bank account only with my provincial one. I clear way more than the 65K every month and its a big fat zilch for me.... -

OP phone them...., I used AIS 005 number and on the blower for 30 mins. Soon as you give them your NI number they know most things. They will write and and tell you what pension they have decided to pay you. I put mine in Bangkok Bank. Started getting it last September, and already along with many others over here got first 'Certificate of Life'. Local Bangkok Bank manager signed mine off....... -

Savannakhet Experience
brianburi replied to Scoobydoo1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Did my extension last week using the well known agency in Soi13/2. No requirement to go to Immigration. Just 20 mins at the Bank, they take a photo of you and keep your passport. Must be a Bangkok Bank account, 1640B fee's if your account isn't that branch. I couldn't hang about too long down there in Pattaya so the agent EMS'd my passport back to me. In the passport you get a blue paper immigration receipt for the 1900B extension fee, nice touch. Big thx to the OP posting here as I am thinking of changing the way I do retirement extensions. Next year I plan to go over to Savannakhet and get a single non o visa. I will have over a full year of my two UK pensions paid into Bangkok Bank by then. Easily more than enough to meet the retirement monthly income for retirement.
