  1. Fine print: 1. Full coverage valid only on 30th Feb of every year, otherwise $200 2. Lost luggage and trip cancellation valid only for those with three ears 3. Proof of GoFundMe account with generous donors, otherwise policy is null and void 4. Defamatory complaints about our products and services renders policy totally void 5. Emergency repatriation covers inflight food only. Policyholder pays everything else.
  2. Finally, someone who makes sense. I've been banging my head against a brick wall trying to decipher his motives. It all makes sense now. Thanks
  3. Happy with those odds. I know how Vikings look like so I don't mind waging all my chips. All in.
  4. I'll roast and eat my right foot if they are full-blooded Swedes.
  5. This poor young man's life cut short. Dying at 22 is just incredibly tragic. Just 1 more year and he would have graduated with an engineering degree. She should do the right thing. Return immediately, make reparations to his loved ones and do the time.
  6. Be grateful for the privilege of being served expeditiously and painlessly. Time is precious.
  7. Stole his Lolex? Sorry, his Rorex? I mean Rolex? And his 50k? Disturbing. I hope his insurance compensates him for his losses. They must. After all, that's what insurance is for. To claim for a lost Lolex, I mean Rorex and 50k thb which he incidentally had with him at 2 AM.
  8. The over-sensationalizing of such a trivial incident over a trivial item is bizarre and disproportionate. Certain acts of negligence deserve to be categorized as offences too which means she deserves a fair share of finger pointing.
  9. She's now a citizen of Limboland. Forgotten and in a state of limbo for the rest of her life.
  10. With the help of a foreign embassy... multiple assumed identities This is a seriously scandalous national security threat.
  11. Bunch of lies. All this misinformation and deceptive reporting to make Thailand look bad. Thailand is ranked 65 with visa free access to 79 countries. Cambodia is ranked 88 with visa free access to only 54. https://www.henleyglobal.com/passport-index/ranking
  12. A certain country located south of Canada and north of Mexico. "money orders, magnetic stripe cards" too. Thing is I did half of my undergraduate studies in Chicago back in the 90s and when I wanted to get a transcript of my records, they wanted money orders or checks only. And a US address to send the documents to. Ended up abandoning that super complicated intergalactic mission.
  13. I have a friend with this problem and the embassy advised him to first clear up the immigration issue before applying for a passport, apparently because a valid visa is a requirement for such an application. Absurd. Immigration won't touch his overstay paperwork with a ten foot pole unless they see a valid passport.
  14. Yes, sir. I'll make sure I take 1 BTC worth of baht with me when I grab that bag of toasted muesli at Villa Market.
  15. Very sad. I had severe depression in the 1990s. Almost ended my life back then. Was lucky to have friends who recognized the signs. The young man is most likely dead, considering how many days he has been missing and the fact that he went overboard during frightful circumstances (darkness and rough seas).
  16. Schwerbehindertenausweis? I also have it (50%). They will just give it a passing glance and if lucky, you'll get a smile or two and that rare ขอให้มีวันที่ดี Don't use the Karen option. Tantrums won't work.
  17. May he be found safe despite those perilous conditions (rough seas in darkness).
  18. Training to become a radiologist must be one of the most demanding work in medicine. You're not just a doctor but also a nuclear scientist.
  19. Scary but also very impressive, the catastrophic consequences of that small capsule. They probably sealed off the roads and have half of the army sweeping all 1,400 km with a Geiger counter. The havoc our species can wreak is a monumental achievement in itself.
  20. cough cough... luckily i had my go-to drink to drown the shame after reading such stories
  21. Mr Pasuth Thothaveesansuk, you're delusional. Not happening anytime soon. EU and Thailand not same same.
  22. I know this might be irrelevant because it concerns a case of applying for a visa to Germany but I believe their assessment procedures are identical, especially when it comes to that core requirement of proving the applicant's motivation or intention to return. When I sponsored someone's visa application, it was rejected despite all the strong supporting financial documents provided. The reason given was "your intention to leave the territory of the Member States before the expiry of the visa could not be ascertained." Appealed and it was still not granted. The difficult part has nothing to do with the sponsor's resources but rather that part about rebutting the embassy's presumption of permanent migration.
