  2. Most likely bought that St Kitts & Nevis citizenship with proceeds of crime.
  3. Proudly German and will always be. Would never trade my Reisepass for that blue, eagle-crested thing. Not even if it came with financial and tax incentives.
  4. This is the personification and definition of evil. Abetting criminals equates to being part and parcel of the criminal operation. Never mind the money but that boy's life ended because of her actions. Hopefully with her help, the scammers are also pursued and prosecuted to the absolute very last.
  5. Well, you're doing the exact same thing. Look at your own mud first before slinging it at others. It's good ol' advice. Following the rules is always the best way forward. You board that flight, disembark from it and go through passport control without a shred of uncertainty. Far better than lining up at check in and immigration, clutching that ticket with trembling fingers and posting on a forum asking members to wish you luck.
  6. Honesty is the best policy. Taking advantage of deceptive loopholes backfires on immigration policies and affects those with less dodgy intentions. Just buy a new genuine refundable ticket. Or get that visa. Or plan appropriately and conscientiously.
  7. That's because they are real tickets but are eventually cancelled. A clear case of deception. As opposed to sites which offer fake tickets which cannot be confirmed. Plan those next travels prudently and with honesty in mind. If budget is an issue, perhaps it's time to fatten up that savings account first.
  8. Booking this fake ticket thing online is fraught with risk. Airline software systems are now interconnected with the travel industry's big 3: Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre. A ticket has a confirmation code on it. Querying it will reveal the PNR and booking status- even if a different carrier issued the ticket. And depending on the mood of the check in agent, it's either a simple sorry i can't find your PNR on the system or a walkie talkie call to someone who might end up putting you in hot water.
  9. 8 years ago I invited my then PH gf to travel with me to Germany. She had to return to the Philippines to apply for a Schengen visa at the German embassy in Makati. The embassy in Silom (via VFS) will only entertain applications from non-Thais who have the following: - Original and copy of work permit (if applicable) - Re-entry stamp from Thai Immigration, valid after coming back from the Schengen states - if the trip is sponsored: sponsoring letter and bank statement of the sponsor for the last three months including bank account movements of the sponsor, original with bank stamp, copy of sponsor's passport. - Evidence proving she will return to the Philippines (or Thailand). Your gf will need to apply in the Philippines. If you will sponsor her travel to Europe, be sure to give her the required sponsorship documents. If she gets the visa, be sure she's well prepared for the trip. Philippine immigration will "grill" her thoroughly about her travel intentions and especially about her relationship with you. Pics together will help. Emails, chats and other communication (and all that love ya, good night sweety pie, miss ya loads, dying to be with you soon, itching to cuddle with you soon etc etc) can all help convince PH immigration to let her board that flight.
  10. Amateur. Why take a quarter when an entire whole is staring back temptingly?
  11. Calm down. The man doesn't deserve such acidic and judgmental references. Not everyone has a magnifying glass to read the exclusion clauses and fine print of that insurance policy, especially if the package is marketed as "all inclusive" or "peace of mind for your next holiday." One day you'll be in a situation where you struggle to read the fine print of your retirement home's terms and conditions. Be sure to read them carefully, lest you be labeled an imbecile and "dumb" I wish him well. Good to see so much support from his family and community back in Wales.
  12. Yaysuz freaking christ, the assumptions you make. The man is in an ICU. Yeah right, he should walk around BKK with that oxygen tank while looking for a buyer for whatever assets you seem certain he possesses.
  13. That having said, now imagine being overcharged or overpaying $11k. https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501209589/high-fare-man-makes-11000-tuk-tuk-error/
  14. Video or it never happened. I think they're confusing actual sex with dry humping (sorry... i can be quite direct lol) If found and identified, he'll be famous for all the wrong reasons.
  15. Time in a Thai prison would be a once in a lifetime thing. Swedish prisons are like Ibis hotel rooms. Maybe even better.
  16. Christmas and New Year behind bars half a world away from home and family. Heaven. Can't surpass this once in a lifetime experience.
  17. Ask your embassy if a temporary passport is an option. At the German embassy, there is such an option (a green vorläufiger Reisepass). It's a 1-year machine-readable (but not biometric) passport and it is available for collection within a few days. The passport is for urgent travel and is mainly for those who need to travel whilst waiting for the 10 year one. I can imagine the UK might also have this kind of passport.
  18. Amateur. With a more methodical teamwork strategy, systematic mapping and choice of the escape route and some research about how same-same malefactors dodged Interpol red notices, he would have made it.
  19. Hmmmm... slow business. Seems like nobody needs a Bachelor of Science from Harvard.. errr.. Oxford. Or an instant TEFL or that C-Card without ever having dived..
  20. I have a German PayPal opened with my Personalausweis or national ID and linked to my IBAN account and I also have a Cambodian PayPal. The latter is linked to my ABA account in Phnom Penh and KYC'd with my Cambodian passport (obtained by naturalization in 2020). Both are convenient and although their terms state one should only have 1 PayPal account, I have been using both without issues (so far) but I never send money from one to the other to avoid setting off flags and alarm bells. The only problem with a Cambodian PayPal is you can't withdraw to a local bank or card. The main advantages are: 1) it can be linked to local cards, 2) worry-free exchange rate margins due to USD currency used in Cambodia, and of course 3) PayPal's fraud protection.
  21. Countries where English is the first or official language or lingua franca are excluded. Australia, NZ, Canada, US are all not on the on list.
  22. If you keep a low profile, live a regimental saint-like life and stay buddy buddy with the gf's family and extended family, then there's a chance of overstaying without ever being caught. Having good relations with equally low profile locals is crucial for that roof over one's head without visa checks. Having a safe hideout or hidey-hole, in other words. Living in a rural area helps greatly as it is far less likely to be frequented by pesky face-recognizing BMWs. Making an effort to learn the language is definitely on that to-do checklist. Being tech savvy earns you brownie points as it gives you access to forums like this, a rich source of info about other overstayers' experiences and the strategies they used to stay one step ahead of the BIB. And money. If you have it and manage it wisely, then, true to Frank Sinatra's words, you're definitely gonna make it all the way.
