Thai woman calls justice after Thai man attacks her Belgian husband
BritScot replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Very derogatory and insulting post. Your post is like me saying: "Thai women laugh at Thai men's lack of prowess in the bedroom, Absence of loyalty in relationships and marriage, non existing responsibility of their children" and I could go on and on. The fact is women in Thailand prefer western men because on a whole they are loyal, responsible and take care of them. However, men make mistakes when C.R.B. and marry the wrong women who are morally currupt but that's life in all countries. Well named profile me thinks. -
‘Big Joke’ Jeered For Literally Kneeling Before Potjaman
BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
What a thing to say and to wish for! Quite disgusting or your just so nieve, newbie or Thai military! The damage the last 2 coupes that Thailand has suffered crippling the country with lost real foreign investment, miss management and the massive rise in corruption. Things will slowly unravel as the state of things start to leak out (the military had to put a fix in: a trade of don't look under the carpet) -

It is up to the Thai people who becomes PM unless the tanks roll in and the cuntry is stolen. Nothing done under a military government holds any water "null and void"! -
Pattaya Police Arrest Turkish Dine-and-Dash Suspect with Illegal Drugs

Sorry but I do not trust the police due to their reputation for planting evidence. Why is no one asking why he would not pay? -
The barbecue that fired up awareness of political corruption in Thailand
BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Sorry but if you think providing a barbecue to thank staff for doing thankless work is corruption your moral compass is broken beyond repair. Stop and think or maybe you think it's currupt when a company pays bonuses every year or holds Christmas parties? Just shaking my head in disbelief... -
American Tourist Arrested for Stabbing Incident in Chiang Mai
BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
I have a house I built 13 years ago in a Thai village and have many Thai friends. I was well aware what was going on (my father in law was the Head man). I can stand by every word I said including about thwarted murders by legal carry in USA. Maybe you have problems with researching or have ho idea what is going on around you and maybe you. Very little of what goes on reaches the media even Thai media but hay keep those rose coloured glasses on. You just have no idea. -

Is the fuss because they are lowly cleaners? I personally think this is/was a very good gesture of thanks. The people complaining should hold their heads in shame.- 15 replies

Activists Gather At Police Hospital To Find Out About Thaksin’s Ailment
BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It is getting easier to see the infiltration of this site over the past years since the last coup. Convicted by a kangaroo Court directed by the military is worth nothing until all those who take the country at the end of a gun by generals who become billionaires on very modest salaries. Let him without sin cast the first stone! Always remember he was a truly elected PM by the people and worked for the people and would be elected again and as was his sister. -

American Tourist Arrested for Stabbing Incident in Chiang Mai

Obviously you have no idea about real life in Thailand out side your bubble. What happens in villages very rarely reaches the news especially Thai visa. The village I have a home in and wife's family are from is typical of Thailand if you have the ability to look. The only murder that reached thaivisa news was the school girl rapped and murdered (next village). You Obviously have no idea. 3 x drive by shootings several years ago in Trang (never got to the news). Reason jealous belief they were taking their business. Bar 2 drive by shootings last one two people hit and lived second was a new noodle shop. -
Scratch the surface and you will see Thailand is anything but safe. Small village I lived in there was a murder nearly every year and I can't remember anyone going to prison (death money paid to relatives and police). It was always over trivial things like a felt insulting tip at a karaoke party (stabbed to death) advice to a friend when his wife left him (stabbed to death) young boy dealing drugs (shot) and the saddest a boy of 15 shot over a girl.

American Tourist Arrested for Stabbing Incident in Chiang Mai

This could be correct as the media fail to report any crimes thwarted including attempted mass shooting by legal carry in America. Far more prevented by right to carry. Criminals should not be the only one's carrying firearms. -
They are the currupt of the currupt. Most do not come from rich families "middle class at best". I was married to a woman from the dirt poor side of one of the generals who was not rich family. I think two sides were into printing "his side prospered quite a bit from his service". There is also a myth that they marry money this also on a whole is untrue. If you can remember some scandles like the misunderstanding of the general who put the whole budget into his personal account, the currupt Park that that when some very brave students went by train to protest "train stopped and they were arrested". The list is endless but while the generals stole the country at the end of a gun reporting stopped. Last point remember the little strip of land purchase before the tanks rolled that no one was allowed to talk about... watches. All should be audited but who can do as last external auditors called into thailand was murdered.

Sorry but you know nothing. You must have been fed lots of anti democracy and green Mafia spin. You really need some education because your so far off the mark. I hated Thaksin but by god he was the best thing for Thailand and the Thai people voted for him and would do again. Ask yourself one question "Why is Thailand not as prosperous as Japan or South Korea? And then research the global richest and ask yourself how poorly paid Thai generals are all $ millionaires or even billionaires?

World Bank Downgrades Thai Economic Growth Forecast

Try reading more. NATO pushed Russia into a corner. This all could have been stopped by a treaty and was about to be until the war junkies sent in their flunkie BoJo to scupper it. Read, then read more. Look at all sides then conclude. -
If it wasn't for "C" china's economy would already have crashed spectacularly. China thought it could bring the world crashing so lessening it's noticible crash. Big money is moving out of China as are foreign firms. The crash has already started but the big danger is what will the ccp do in their death throws?

Will he be the next senior policeman to be forced to claim asylum in Oz? Rotten to the core are all uniformed Mafia in Thailand.

Thai PM sees a role for Thaksin when he gets out of jail
BritScot replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I did not like Thaksin when he was PM but he was elected by the people and he did a very good job. Just look at the countries accomplishments: GDP, foreign investment, English level and education.....
