Here we go again! These breeds take very knowlegable owners. Looking at the conditions these dogs were kept in and the fact their owner obviously could not exercise them. This is the outcome and the out come would be the same with any breed from a jack Russel to dalmatian. How hungry were these dogs? 100% owners fault and 100% should now be put down.

German and French firms eye Thailand’s booming electric vehicle sector
BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I have a feeling this will never happen, it will be the proverbial can kicked down the road. Already the media is starting to paint ev's as not so Rosie. People are becoming aware of how these rare metals are being mined, the effect ev's have on roads and the big elephant in the room is how the government infrastructure is not being pushed/built, then there is how ev's kill other road users due to their mass. -

Phuket Old Town street makes list of world’s most beautiful streets
BritScot replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
I find this statement very hard to believe! Cables everywhere... Just in Scotland there are dozens of streets and villages which are far nicer and that's without looking around England Wales or Northern Island. Holland and Europe have wonderful streets then America, Canada so many stunning and beautiful but hay! no hanging wires.... -
Climate Change May Have Caused Deadly Chumphon Plankton Bloom

Ah the climate cult! A natural occurring phenomena that occurs like clockwork. Please stop spinning every natural event. -
Sickening to see how little they value a child's life! 100% the schools fault and the authorities give 35,000 baht because its the school's insurance that's paying 200,000baht (what a tiny amount to insure your students). The compensation should be in the millions of baht ie 40,000,000 as a starting point.

BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Back in about 2003 I met a British lad who was working for Thai traffic control who told me that they had an upto date computerised predictive traffic control system and the police cut the cables reasonbeing: 1. They new better than the computer and 2. Scared it would cost them their jobs. -

Chinese tour group apologised after causing harm to Thai marine life

Have you ever dived on a dive site in Thailand? Regardless of mooring lines thai boats especially long tails and speed boats drop anchor as they please and often will go straight over marked divers. Having a propellor churning lethally a couple of inches above your head is an experience never forgotten. -
The whole island's construction is illegal right from its birth with illegal occupation by several families (who run the island). Pull them all down, rip up those hideous concrete streets. What a paradise it was before greed destroyed its charm and beauty. Memories of walking on sand streets, from restaurant to restaurant. I was there when they started building the cement brick resorts and pouring cement roads. Broke my hart, left and never went back. Thankfully I have the memories of what it was like living and working there.

The wording limited edition and the number made is key here. Some Louise Vuitton are well over £150,000 "crazy". They have a very good resale value and some of the rare bags go up in value. My wife had to wait 18 years for her first Louise Vuitton (she now has 2). It was easier to buy knowing it had a resale value...lol

Why the racist comment? And yes "farang" is very racist and derogatory!!! What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Taiwanese National Arrested in Nan Province for Overstaying 3,971 Days
BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Rai News
Are you sure? I just read (dated November 2022): this is from the airport: 500baht a day, this goes to a maximum of 20,000 Baht for overstays of 40 days or longer. The good news is that if you pay the fine and then leave the country then you won't have any problem returning to Thailand at a future date. -
I found out that a teacher at my sons private school in Thailand was bullying him! My wife wisely kept it from me till we left Thailand as I would have gone through the teacher and quite possibly had my own article/thread here on Thai visa "British Parent derating, humiliating and beating Thai teacher to a pulp for bullying his 9 year old son!!!" I've always hated bullies!

BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Rai News
Or thought he was above board by using an agent then decided to do it himself. This would not be the first time this has happened. If he went to immigration then isn't it something like a 25k fine then all is OK? -
