There has been no reporting except from the WH, and AG Garland statements to conduct a preliminary investigation and determine whether a special counsel (assigned to US attorney J Lausch) was necessary and then announcing he's appointing special counsel to investigate Biden after it was reported that Biden's lawyers uncovered classified documents in Biden's UPenn Center office.
