  1. I' not sure what you want to tell me....? A. It's not necessary to buy a Health Insurance when living in Thailand? B. Pay by yourself, because it might be cheaper? C. You didn't find the proper Health Insurance? D. I don't know? Your pick?
  2. Only theoretically. There are a lot of options......
  3. As you stated correctly: WRLife is multinational. Incorrect is that they are only locally funded. If you want to know more it's good to contact WRLife directly, better at least than to spread assumptions.
  4. The Hospitals/Clinics will take them
  5. Why ???? Why you will be kicked out??? 😳
  6. Yeah, similar to Axa or Allianz and others when they started their business.
  7. ?? Hydrophobic intermittent catheters are available in Thailand, but they are not always listed under the term “hydrophobic.” They are usually sold as pre‑lubricated, hydrophilic-coated, or ready‑to‑use intermittent catheters. The most reliable places to buy them in Thailand are medical‑supply distributors, hospital suppliers, and major e‑commerce platforms. Thaitan Medical Supply (Bangkok) Shopee Reusable silicone self‑catheter (Phycon) If you need single‑use hydrophilic, you must search for: “Hydrophilic catheter” “Pre‑lubricated catheter” “Ready to use catheter” “SpeediCath” (Coloplast) “VaPro” (Hollister) Best Brands to Look For in ThailandThese are commonly imported into Southeast Asia: Coloplast SpeediCath (very smooth, hydrophilic) Hollister VaPro / VaPro Plus Bard Magic3 Go Teleflex LiquiCell / FloCath
  8. If you use AI (recommended) then you find all information you need: "Hydrophobic urinary catheter for intermittent catheterization to buy in Thailand" (Co-Pilot)
  9. It is YOUR life and you can do what you want with it. Either on the safe side with a proper insurance (in your age I pay around 10.000 Baht/month) or saving some Baht every month hoping that you wouldn't need it. Good luck.
  10. Thanks for clarification. However, there are reasons for this anxiety. Therefore I recommend an experienced specialist as mentioned.
  11. Well, it's not my job on AN to give you education. However, it's fact you're wrong.
  12. Bumrungrad Hospital Samitivej Hospital your choice
  13. I sent you already the details of a specialist in Bangkok. And I strongly advise you not starting with self treatment promoted by AI. However, a licensed Psychiatrist might recommend Bupropion, Venlafexine or even Methyphenidat......after a good diagnosis, History, Anamnesis. What can you do by yourself? Ad Hoc? Try to be active just for a minute or two. Or try to finish a task (not a complicated one), or watching your posture in a mirror. The Psychiatrist might recommend rTMS, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation. I got best results with some patients. Important: to break out of the vicious circle of depression and inertia.
  14. "Premiums do increase with age, and more so at older ages. There are also inflationary increases". NO, they don't !! Maybe in your personal case. But in general your statement is WRONG. Facts are different!
  15. All of your statements you are wrong. Of course there are insurances which will NOT increase the premiums with rising age. Also pre-existing conditions are included.
  16. True. How much YOU can afford, or willing to pay?
  17. It's not about what I can afford. But I pay every month around 300 Euro. Means not more than 12.000 Baht. Inpatient only. No deductibles.
  18. Exactly. Of course you can get an Insurance with 78. Not a problem at all. An Insurance up to your last day. I reckon you did not try, did you?
  19. That's the wrong question: Most people come here in their retirement age and looking for Health Insurance. So it doesn't matter how many millions (😂) you spent before. And you are also wrong to claim there is not an affordable insurance when getting older. It seems just to be an excuse not to have any.
  20. I miss the word "PLEASE". A bit politeness would be good.
  21. Yes, I think it was easy to understand. (and no belief necessary, just hard facts)
  22. You got the wrong insurance company. Sad.
