  1. Maybe raise some funds on GoFundMe and pay a Thai person to accompany him. Or maybe not enough time to raise funds? Sorry, maybe a bad idea.
  2. last call for alcohol. i'm in bed before 9 most nights to avoid alcohol-induced suppressed anger.
  3. This is mind-blowing. Trade tariff turmoil Pushes Canada to Rethink US Ties With friends like Trump, who needs enemies? Will Trump's policies push Canada to join the EU?
  4. Just watched Tim Newton today on Youtube. He covered this story. Tim recommends not buying anything in Thailand, renting only.

  6. This transgender should consult Nomad Capitalist for a second passport in a country that will allow them to play on a woman's team.

  8. nomad capitalist makes a living bashing the US because the more people leave the US and look for other countries to settle in, the more money he makes helping them relocate
  9. The guy seems like the biggest mover and shaker I've ever seen. Let's hope it's mostly positive stuff. In Gaza, even the folks there might not like to be displaced initially, but I wonder if in the long term they will thank Trump for ending their lives of war for once and for all?
  10. Remote / hybrid work became common because of Covid. That's one positive thing.

  14. Not everyone has the same amount of savings in retirement. Some people amass a considerable amount of wealth. So if you are one of these people, what else are you going to spend it on besides a nice property, especially in a country where properties are much cheaper than back home? If you don't want to take the risk of losing the property to a Thai woman, then the only other option is to travel extensively. Then even if the relationship ends badly, at least you had some fun times together traveling the world so it won't feel like you've been scammed. Otherwise, anyone with substantial savings in retirement will be tempted to buy a nice villa at some point. Who wants to sit on cash in a bank and have a crappy apartment?
  15. Yeah, I sorta guessed you were single and living in Pattaya. That's one of the only ways you can get away with being a perpetual renter. Sooner or later, the wifey/gf will pressure you to buy a place. And I'm not judging you. In fact, there is a certain amount of wisdom in staying single in this day and age.
  16. No need to implant tracking devices through vaccines or tattoos or shampoos. MIT is building robotic insects that can track you.
  17. The same reason IT guys like Steve Jobs stopped wearing a suit and tie and went to work in jeans. To break existing norms. Might be the first time ever a little boy is present in an oval office interview. And even the way Elon was dressed. Maybe the first person ever not to wear a tie in the oval office.
  18. You can put patches on your jean jacket if you want to make a statement with art.
  19. OP mentions Lupus. Never heard that before, but AI confirms this. So there is some health risk involved, although maybe it's not very high.
  20. yeah, that could be the scam going on. maybe they are just moving money around for elon's special projects. however, i think self-driving cars are going to be a good thing, and that is one of elon's projects.
  21. good point. these 2 guys should probably not be fully trusted. keep an eye on them. also, DOGE and DOGE-Coin ... same acronym.
