~ Yes, the Imm Officer is correct that you cannot permanently live at another address than the one you are registered at in the province where you have your official address for immigration purposes. But nothing prohibits you from making trips and lengthy 'holiday' stays at other places, as long as you are genuinely residing at your official address (even if most of the time you are not there).

You can do the 90-day report on-line on 31st december. Obviously due to New Year holidays it will be only handled during the working-days of the Imm Office where you have your official address. If by 12 January 2024 you did not receive a confirmation from the Imm Office (you can check the status of your 90-day report notification on-line), you could call the Imm Office and ask why it is still pending. If for one reason or another they want you to do it in person, you then still have time till 19 January to visit the Imm Office (as there is a 6-day grace period when doing the 90-day report in person).

By law you can make as many and as long trips to anywhere in Thailand or abroad while on a 1-year extension of stay of a Non Imm O Retirement Visa. Obviously your address must be genuine but in the OP's case it is indeed his place of residence. A fake address is not allowed (like when you make use of a Fixer Agent who applies for your Visa or extension at an Imm Office in a different province where he has 'connections'). OP was asking for a legal solution to get rid of the hassle of having to 'relocate' every 6 months as he is living half of the year in a different place than where he has his official residence. And it is clear from what he wrote that if he is not actually relocating, and that he can simply keep his official address at the province where he is residing, as he would be on 'holiday' in the other place. And there would be no reason to make the trip to the Imm Office where he has his official address just for doing the 90-day report in person, as he could easily do it on-line. In the rare case that the Imm Office would want to visit him after being already more than 1 year on a 1-year extension of stay at the same place, he would receive a telephone call to announce the visit. And if he is not there but at his other place, he can truthfully say that he is on holiday and make an appointment on a date when he would be at his official residence.

You are not a prisoner, confined to stay at your official address for Immigration purposes. The 90-day report is nothing more than a confirmation from your part that your official address for immigration purposes is still the same and has not changed. As you are on a 1-year extension of a Non Imm O Retirement Visa, there is no reason for Immigration to check whether you are 'always at home'. And in the extremely rare case that Immigration would want to visit you, they always phone beforehand to avoid that they make the journey for nothing because you being on holiday in another part of Thailand.

Keeping sim cards alive frequent visitor

~ I am not saying that this is a fake seller, but when the price is less than half of other sellers, there might be a risk. To avoid that, when I buy from Lazada I always select sellers that bear the LAZMALL mark, as Lazada guarantees that these are genuine sellers. So you could do a search for " lazmall 1 year internet unlimited sim card 30mbps dtac " . -

I read and checked NextG's posts, and he is correct that they hiked the price for that 1-year unlimited download 30 Mbps dTac SIM-card to almost 2.200,- THB. In april of this year - less than 7 months agao - I bought one for 1.500,- THB on Lazada. He is also correct that you should check your location whether you can indeed get the full 30 Mbps. I live in the sticks and most of the time I have a bit more than 20 Mbps. As I am a heavy downloader, even at 20 Mbps unlimited download and 2.200,- THB per year I consider it a good deal. -
There are 3 options for doing the 90-day report: 1- Doing it in person at the Imm Office where you have your official address for imm purposes - then it has to be done during the window from 14 days before due date till due date, but when doing it in person you also have a '6 day grace period' allowing you to do it without any repercussions until 6 days after due date. 2 - Doing it on-line, using this web-link > https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login then it has to be done in the window from 14 days before due date till actual due date (and there is no grace period). Note that the program does not allow you to report when you try too early or after due date. Depending on the Imm Office you are reporting to, the confirmation can be quick (same day) to very slow (sometimes arriving AFTER due date). So when doing your 90-day report on-line it is recommended to do it as early as possible (14 days before due date). 3 - Sending it by mail. Generally not recommended, as in that case according to Imm procedures they need to receive your 90-day report 15 days before due date (although in practice they seldom adhere to that ridiculous time-line).

No problem, but the Imm Office will most probably transfer your VisaExempt entry stamp from your old passport to your new one, before providing you with the 30 day extension of stay. Otherwise it would not be traceable anymore on which basis you got that 30-day extension of stay in your new passport. That 'stamp transfer' process is free of charge. Also, when you are currently staying at a Hotel/guesthouse ask reception for a copy of the TM-30 notification that the Hotel is required to make to notify local Immigration that a foreigner is staying at their premises. Without that TM-30 copy chances are that your local Imm Office will not provide you with any service as they want to have proof of the address where you are staying in their province.

A PBS Newshour 27 October press-release states that only 7% of U.S. adults and 2% of children have gotten a shot. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/vaccine-data-shows-rates-for-latest-covid-19-booster-is-abysmal-only-7-percent-of-u-s-adults-with-shot One expert called the rates “abysmal.” The numbers, presented Thursday at a meeting held by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, come from a national survey of thousands of Americans, conducted two weeks ago. The uptake figures are so 'bad' (depending on your point of view of course), that it is difficult to get info on the actual figures. 555

In your case you could consider buying a 1-year 30 Mbps unlimited download SIM from dTac or IAS, which provides you with continual Internet-access, and is more than sufficient to even stream movies on your mobile or connected device. Such SIM costs only approx 1.500,- THB, but you can only get them on Lazada or Shopee, and not at any of the phone-shops. There are however 2 drawbacks to those SIMs: #1 - After expiry of the 1-year validity, you cannot renew that 1.500 THB package, and would have to buy a new one (with a different phone-number, that cannot be changed). Note that you can buy cheap 1-day, 3-day or 1-week packages to bridge the 'intermediate time' between SIM 1-year expiry date and arrival of a new 1-year one. #2 - You will receive phone-calls and SMS messages on those 1.500,- THB 1-year 30 Mbps unlimited download SIMS but they do not have phone- or SMS-credit for making calls. Obviously when you use WhatsApp or Messenger or any other Internet-program to (video)call, chat or message your contacts, there is no need for making 'regular' phone-calls or sending SMS. And you could buy a 70,- or 100,- THB phone-credit from dTac or IAS, which you only use for making the occasional call. >> All in all these SIMS are a far better deal than the regular packages when you primarily use them for Internet access. But when you mainly use your mobile phone for making domestic calls, then a 'top-up' package might be more appropriate. -
No problem at all, with your re-entry permit your Protected Permission to Stay date (17th March) will be stamped again in your passport by Thai border-immigration on arrival.

Evidence of DNA Contamination in Pfizer Vaccine

~ Anxiously waiting for the credible source of that nugget you quoted that 'vials all over the world are examined, and no DNA is found.' Deafening silence, because it is obvious that you made that up. -

Open a Thai bank account on tourist visa
Red Phoenix replied to qwab32's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It will be very very difficult - albeit not totally impossible - to open a Thai bank-account on a Tourist Visa. But doing so would be a necessity when you want to apply at your local Imm Office for the 90-day Non Imm O Retirement Visa from that Tourist Visa. Note that your plan to apply for such Non Imm O Retirement Visa from UK is not allowed, as the application has to be done when you are in your home-country. A route without (or with far less) problems would be to apply for the 90-day Non Imm O Retirement Visa while still in UK, and with such Visa it would then be far easier to open a Thai Bank-account in the first 2-3 weeks of your arrival. That needs to be done in those first weeks, so that you can transfer the required 800K. Those funds need to be seasoned for 2 months, at the moment of application for the 1-year extension of stay based on that 90-day Non Imm O Retirement Visa. -

Evidence of DNA Contamination in Pfizer Vaccine
Red Phoenix replied to Red Phoenix's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
~ Depends on which experts you rely to dismiss the possibility of alteration of the human genome. A common sense approach re this matter would be to urgently start studies to find out if any of this DNA got integrated into any human genomes. In addition to testing a lot more vials, filling in the data gaps for the dose response curve to prove causal effects of DNA:SAEs (if they exist), we need to test injected people’s stem cells and germ line cells for integration of any of this DNA. Once it is proven in a large enough sample of injected individuals that integration did not occur, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief... -
TM.30 reporting requirement change(?)
Red Phoenix replied to mran66's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
~ I was fully knowledgeable on all the intricacies of the 'old' and now obsolete on-line TM-30 website. But I have not delved into that new website yet. And it will take quite a while before I will ever have to do so as I am in the lucky circumstance of residing in a Province that follows the TM-30 regulations, and so as long as I don't relocate to another address and remain on my current extensions of stay (even with frequent domestic and international trips) my Imm Office does not require me to file a new TM-30. -

Genuinely sorry to hear about your health condition. But did you consider that the mRNA shots you got, might be the instigator of that 'unexpected' lung damage? Imo taking another booster is not indicated in your case, as it are indeed the vulnerable - like yourself - who are at highest risk. But less from catching covid-19 than from the immune system assault by another mRNA jab. Of course it is your body and health, so it's your decision and this post is just my (informed) opinion on the matter. Whatever you do, I wish you a speedy full recovery.
