  1. Wife has been approved a UK visitor visa We'll be flying together most likely with Thai Airways Will they require proof of a return ticket? We don't know the exact date we'll be coming back...
  2. After submitting the docs with VFS they left this part unticked on the checklist A UK passport copy was provided Should there be any concern?
  3. Currently assisting the wife with documents for the UK visitor visa. Someone in my family will be her sponsor and will give all the relevant documents. The wife is insisting that I need to write a letter too, (so 3 letters in total), which provides the past 6 months of my (two) Thai bank accounts, plus photos of us together. I don't want to overload them with documents so checking its a requirement? (both herself and the sponsor will be providing bank statements).
  4. Don't waste your time, you're talking to Mr Bicker, happens in every thread he's in
  5. Yep, I did the same as above recently, no issues whatsoever

  7. I’m still not seeing any option to search Keeps referring to their Line account
  8. yes, I remember being it like that before, but now I just get this (logged in)
  9. there's no option to search for goods anymore
  10. Not a troll post but I genuinely think it's down to bar girls

  12. what's happened to the Medtide website? I used to get Gabapentin off there cheap any alternatives not in the OP?
  13. (Saw this on Facebook, thought it might be of interest...) "Foreign teachers are no longer required to have Bachelor/Master/Diploma in Education to get permanent teaching license. Instead, you can use bachelor degree in ANY discipline to apply for one and you need to attend the “ONLINE theoretical and practical training; 7 modules” held by Kurusapha (ONLY for those who are holding a “waiver” temporary teaching license for at least 1 year and still working at the current school mention in that waiver). Moreover, the ‘temporary teaching license’ will soon no longer be given to those non-education degree holders who wanted to be a teacher, but instead “P-license” (2 years license), “B-license” (5 years license), and “A-license” (7 years license) are going to be implemented soon. No need to attend and spend TONS of money for the “diploma” and “master” is probably a really good news for many of us. NB: you may ask your Thai teachers at your school regarding this news and let them translate it for you for better understanding. Though, you CAN still take the ‘diploma’ or ‘master’ that are accepted by Khurusapa to get the permanent teaching license, but, if I were you, I wouldn’t even bother to spend money for things that are no longer a must." 14. I managed to do it with a UK paypal account and a Thai debit card. Sent the money to a family member with a paypal account setup (maybe it works sending to yourself under another email). It will prompt you for the billing address of that card, only giving you an option to use a UK address. Just use your UK address, for some reason this still works (I expect a lot of people give up when they see this). Deemoney is the option most will give, but I had a bad experience using them and had to wait a while to get a refund
  15. old thread I know... wish I had read this part 2-hours ago
  16. Nope, I never knew I had to contact my bank before transferring money to it. Never an issue the first time and never a problem when using Wise to transfer money to here.
  17. Looking to buy my son-in-law (or nephew is maybe the correct term) an air rifle for shooting plastic bottles etc. and eventually animals. Is it better to buy from Lazada or a store? He'll only be using it under my supervision and already has goggles from his nerf guns. Any tips well appreciated, thanks.
  18. Knew there’d be one saying it’s all my fault, surprised you didn’t use caps It worked the first time so why an issue this time? Anyway found a way to do it via PayPal in the end
  19. 1. Tried DeeMoney first as I’d used them once before with no issues. I tried to make a 2nd transfer and it says my bank has rejected it. Fair enough, but I’m having to wait over a week now to get the money back, and the fees won’t be refunded I’m told. 2. Never tried Western Union before, downloaded their app and it looked promising, but it’s not letting me register an account as it thinks my UK postcode should be 6 digits (without letters). Can anyone offer any advice? (I won’t be using DeeMoney again - I gave them money instantly but have to wait x days for a refund)
