  1. ????? What about the crazies who were born in the USA????
  2. An easy option that will save many lives
  3. Problem as always with simplistic non-solutions is that those who benefit from corruption never pay the penalties. The small people are used as fallguys, they would get executed. And the rich would walk off into the sunshine with their ill-gotten gains, laughing all the way.
  4. Use a betadine eyedrops solution or gel. Used it in UK to get rid of conjunctivitis (pinkeye) a few times. Very effective.
  5. Indeed, trickle-down theory is garbage that rich Republicans use to brainwash poor Republicans into thinking it will benefit them. And they fall for it.
  6. Maybe they could grow some other kinds of rice that are really expensive such as carnaroli. Used in Italian risotto. Due to droughts, Italy has had major problems growing large amounts of suitable risotto rice varieties. An idea, it depends of the costs of getting it to market that might want it. If the transport costs are sufficiently low, then it might be more profitable than Thai rice.
  7. You are obviously unfamiliar with the mortality worldwide due to COVID.
  8. I assume total numbers are down, but Europeans as a percentage of the decreased total have gone up. USA not currently popular due to jail fears. So, more booking to other places, and I suspect Thailand has to thank Trump for what is a disaster for US tourism.
  9. Ask the dead policeman

  11. This is the story https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/apr/05/i-was-a-british-tourist-trying-to-leave-america-then-i-was-detained-shackled-and-sent-to-an-immigration-detention-centre
  12. Europeans are switching from USA to anywhere else - not surprisingly law-abiding tourists they do not fancy getting jailed by the crazies at US border). So numbers go up in Thailand.
  13. Yes, everything in moderation.
  14. Obviously. Maybe ditch visas. All farang spend money from external sources in thailand - whether short-stay or long-stay. They should try to make it more friendly to all farang instead of obsessing about imaginary high-quality tourists.
  15. I forgot to mention vinegar - it has acetic acid which is very good in the gut & impacts kidney stone formation (reduces it). Naturally fermented is easy to make.
  16. Agreed. And tapenade (olive spread) is wonderful. I prefer Kalamata olives
  17. There will be an outcry if it raises the price of fish sauce. Good for health, but bad politics
