The delusional/demented (in a medical sense) can never deal with people questoning their delusional realities - usually react with anger. Whether it Trump or that horrible toxic professor mentioned in a another topic who caused problems for someone's son.

I agree, having taught for 6 years in Chinese schools. The whole system of education drives kids in China to be successful: competition between themselves, their parents, their grandparents, the schools. Many will face one of the worst exams in the world - the GAOKAO. If you fail this exam, your life prospects as an adult in China go down dramatically. Everything will become far far more difficult. -

Agreed, the system must be changed so that some can fail. This at IGCSE/A-level in Govt. schools, even those with integrated curriculums. Students fail IGCSE, & A-level yet get a 50% in the Thai system & still get into Chula. Thinking specifically about a girl who was a passed in our school, and got into Chula yet if we (farang teachers had been allowed) it is highly likely she would have got close to Zero in all subjects except Thai. Her father is very important politically & rich. If the system does not change Thailand will be further reduced to irrelevance in ASEAN & the world. -

Why would you name a rocket after the Greek goddess of strife & discord? Very peculiar. Maybe, she was not pleased. -
Whether statins are good depends on the diagnosis. Second opinions can be valuable, but in the main statins reduce the chances of various problems associated with CVD, and are standard teatment for transient ischaemic attacks (TIAs). There cn be sde effects. Report them to the hospital if they occur, they may recommend statins from a different manufacturer. For more informed information contact you local hospital doctor

Go for good diet (minimise probability of bad stuff happening medically), live a less stressful life if possible, be happy to the degree possible. Enjoy being in a wondereful country, it has its downsides (sure) but the positives for most people are way more abundant than the negatives

Types of sugars are important to consider - sucrose vs fructose vs nonsugar alternatives. More evidence is accumulatingt hat nosugar sweeteners are not all good. Example, erythritol has recently been shown to have not good effects on the blood-brain barrier of mice (mammals) , research needs to be done on humans (mammals) to see whether these bad effects affect people. Fructose is bad in excessive amounts (although, other components of fruit are good e.g vitamins, micro-nutrients, minerals, fibre), our bodies are not adapted to dealing with high levels of fructose in the diet unlike monkeys & bears.. So yet again, balanced eating is important for health

Indeed, hence the great innovation (1 example) in rice processing that prevented rice from going rancid & getting colonised by fungi such as Aspergillus sp. , specifically A. flavus. This produces aflatotoxins which are one of the most potent natural triggers of liver cancer. But the same problem exists for most stored seeds (Never ever eat fungus infected seeds). The original scientific article seems very good. Given sufficient base level knowledge, I would recommend reading it. Otherwise, just read the article provided. Key point avoid ultra-processed ( junk food) to the degree possible. Eat fish, veggies, & fruit as much as you want. Eat a balanced diet to the degree possible. Increase nutrient content of a balanced diet. This all aligns with previous information on the value of the Mediterrean diet, adding more analytical evidence to its efficacy. NB: my stats knowledge is not good enough to evaluate how good their stats are. This might, if they got their stats wrong, invalidate their conclusions.

Life was a lot more stressful for the majority of people then, especially with no modern medicine & vaccines. Disease killed huge proportion of the population compared to the current day. And not forgetting war.
