and be bureaucratically easier. TDAC could be used to replace all the visas rubbish - electronically vet everyone before entry against criminal databases - Thai databases & Interpol database. SO, if you got a TDAC the no need for visa applications. Simple. The track people in Thailand via TM30s, phone usage & purchases. Dramatically reduce the grief due to excessive paperwork.

We have passports- most now have photos - although it does not have any home address. This seems to be the main issue. The problem will not be the banks but the govt. having told silly things to the banks. They then have to implement them. And as we all the Thai Govt. is full of Kwai.
